Moody Records

Records I enjoy, but can't listen to all the time. I have to be in a certain mood for full effect.
1Protest The Hero
Kezia

There is so much going on during this record. Mainly I have to be headache free and ready to rock my body back and forth in my chair/car. General mood: a controlled amount of energy.
2The Receiving End of Sirens
Between The Heart And The Synapse

I actually think this is a really cool record to just relax to. It has the perfect amount of heaviness and melody. Also their vocal harmonies are brilliant but once more I can't always enjoy this. General mood: moderately relaxed but not tired
3Thrice
Vheissu

I'm am a huge Thrice fan, NEWSFLASH! But honestly I have to be in a very carefree mindset to listen to this record. The day before an exam, not going to listen to this. A nice summer evening, bring it on. Let my mind wander, let me be inspired, and let me enjoy this beauty of an album. General mood: stress and care free
4Children of Bodom
Are You Dead Yet?

This is one of my favorite records to put on while driving on a highway and hit the gas to. For some reason just the sheer power of this record makes me want to go fast and is perfect for blowing off steam to. General mood: moderately angry or in desire of speed
5Linkin Park
Hybrid Theory

I grew up listening to this record. I recall riding in the backseat to hockey games blasting this, I had this on a pink burned CD with a computer printed label. And that pink CD always sat at the front of my CD booklet. When I'm feeling a bit too old at almost 19 I pop this sucker back in. It brings back innocence to when nothing seemingly mattered and there was no real preasure. General mood: wanting to relive my youth
