Storm In A Teacup
03.31.20 | Anyone else playing this game right now? I have about 45 settlements I'm trying to get the rest of them connected to trade routes this week. Got a couple places turned into actual cities. I have Nordagen Beach set up like a docking yard with massive buildings and 1,000 defense lol. Trying to get 2000 defense there in case some other country or state invades XD |

03.31.20 | i am a big fan of R.E.Q.U.I.E.M. for skyrim |

03.31.20 | But on the real home building is fun. Not super intuitive on vanilla but with the dlc and mods you can make really cool shit. People that don't like it are uncreative plebs.
ES6 will probably have better and more visually appealing building mechanics which will be cool. I dug hearthstone in skyrim outside bandits stealing my kid every day. |

04.01.20 | As someone who actually enjoyed 76 (level 51), I'm stoked for Wastelanders expansion that adds npcs |
Demon of the Fall
04.01.20 | Not really dabbled with the mods yet, might check... it was so overwhelming trying to select the right ones, I ended up not choosing any. Could be interesting though. |
Storm In A Teacup
04.02.20 | @concubinary i agree i am obsessed with settlement building.
@veldin thats cool i bet i would enjoy it too but i have so much left to do in Fallout 4 for a couple of years
@demon i have some suggestions if you are interested in anything in particular |
Demon of the Fall
04.02.20 | Yeah I would be interested thanks...
I’d be mostly after a boatload of new locations, just stuff to explore essentially, maybe the odd isolated mission. I’m not after anything settlement related, or any linked quest-lines. Playing on PlayStation, guessing there might be restrictions idk. |
Storm In A Teacup
04.02.20 | There is a singular mod that adds 50 new locations to the game that are not quest related. Yes, I think there are restrictions but can get you around most of them. I'm looking up that mod for you now. |
Storm In A Teacup
04.02.20 | 1. Plenty 'o' Exploration
2. Bar From Cheer's The Prost Bar Restored (Fallout 4 and Cheers are from same city
3. Pembroke (New World space)
4. Mad Rock (this is a settlement/quest but it will take you over an hour to explore a tricky castle)
5. Project Phoenix (this is a long quest story but it adds 14 new locations to the game and the most difficult firefights in the game) |
Demon of the Fall
04.02.20 | Oh wow man thanks, this looks helpful. I’ll give ‘em a go! |
Storm In A Teacup
04.05.20 | Welcome buddy hope to hear about your adventures! |

04.05.20 | Nude mods make every game better... that and improved graphics mods. You grab a few from both categories and you have a whole new game. |
Storm In A Teacup
04.05.20 | Oh yeah. My modded Fallout 4 looks beautiful. Every time I play the game I really appreciate the whole world around me. Mods have also made me really tempted to feel like this is my favorite gun/shooting game ever. |
Willie
04.05.20 | If it wasn't for mods, Bethesda would have gone out of buisiness a long time ago. |
Demon of the Fall
04.05.20 | The graphics look great anyway, does it really make that much of a difference on console? |
Willie
04.05.20 | The console mods aren't the greatest. There aren't really any graphics mods for console, at least. The best thing about the console mods is just to be able to get some different gear, more guns sooner, and unlimited ammo. |
Demon of the Fall
04.05.20 | The guns/ammo are fine on vanilla F4, wouldn’t being able to obtain more sooner just completely screw with the balance? New locations/missions etc. are always welcome though. Also nothing wrong with extra equipment as a general point. |
Storm In A Teacup
04.05.20 | It's not about getting more sooner. It's about adding mods that change the sound effects of guns and about adding guns that aren't in the game already. I also added mods that completely change enemies making them tougher and adding whole new layers to enemy factions adding new much more variety and making them smarter. |
Willie
04.05.20 | The first time I played Fallout 4, I didn't use any mods. On the second play through, I didn't want to grind or work at anything. I wanted to explore the land at my leisure, complete all the quests just so I could see them, and then play through the other factions real quick. I wanted the balance screwed to my favor. |
Storm In A Teacup
04.05.20 | My second playthrough I balanced all the factions at the same time and ended up destroying the institute with the minutemen BUT I also did it in a way that made the Brotherhood of Steel literally say "well fuck I guess the minutemen are so strong that we give up and will help them" INSTEAD of them usually going after the castle after all was said and done w/ institute.
Now I just mod the fuck out of the game and am addicted to adding new locations, quests, stories to experience. I have at least 60 mods running right now. On Skyrim I have about 90 mods running. |
Storm In A Teacup
04.05.20 | I highly recommend the mod "Marked For Termination". You will get to live out a Terminator movie with Arnold's terminator character as a companion. |
