My Band Is Cutting A Record Yo!

It's all still pretty hush-hush, because the guy at the studio told us not to show it to anyone until it's finished...but yeah, a session has been recorded (live in the studio, of course, it's punk!) and an album is definitely happening! To celebrate, here are the top 5 bands we've been compared to.
1The Ramones

Pretty much a no-brainer. Anyone who listens to our sound, especially the early songs, immediately draws this comparison.
2Sex Pistols

This was a dude I met. He said we were cruder than the Ramones, and not as mellow, sounding more like the Sex Pistols. My accented vocals have also been compared to "that old English punk guy", whoever that is, but I suspect it's Johnny Rotten.
3The Clash

My mum, about one of our speedier songs. I can't see the similarity, but for my mum, almost all punk sounds like The Clash...
4The Doors

My sister, about the second lead singer's vocals in one of the songs: "he sounds like Jim Morrisson, the way he stresses certain syllables". Weird, but definitely flattering
5Social Distortion

This is me, about our bluesier songs. Yeah, it's a self-drawn comparison, but it's here to round up the list.
