Really specific stuff that really bothers me when I listen to music. Also includes physical re-releases. Albums listed are the ones the problem pertains to. Not that many but I think it's interesting to discuss. | 1 | | Tera Melos Untitled
Hard panning. This one's the biggest that I despise. I sometimes listen to music with one earbud/headphone in, and I hate that I can't hear the entirety of one instrument while I'm working on something. | 2 | | Gojira Terra Incognita
Now onto physical re-releases. Bought the 2016 release that has 4 live tracks slapped on the end for no reason. Not too big of a deal, but I really don't get it. | 3 | | Death Individual Thought Patterns
On the other hand, the release I bought was some type of special edition (I think, I don't have it with me right now). Instead of lazily slapping some tracks at the end, instead they went all in and included a second CD of live material. Great release, even has a thick booklet on the process of making the album. | 4 | | Disharmonic Orchestra Not to be Undimensional Conscious
Adding this real quick, but the 2022 rerelease has a little booklet for the lyrics. But I hate that the guys who made it left out repeated stanzas. For example, on Groove, the 5th stanza is repeated, along with the 1st and 2end to close it out. But it's not repeated in the booklet. Its like the dudes who made it were just too lazy, instead willing to leave me confused on which lyrics are being used. Searching up the lyrics online is better than the booklet, sad to say.
I don't care if its common or not, but I really don't like that. | |

02.21.25 | Opera music. Oh and just releasing like six singles from an album before release, leaving barely anything to imagination. | dctarga
02.21.25 | I really don't like songs ending with fade-outs where they just pan the volume down gradually.
Like I get it, some songs it just works better that way (Be Quite and Drive for instance) but I'd really prefer if they just actually ended the song musically somehow lol |
