01.28.21 | Being under 13 absolves you of a lot, but Maroon 5's mid to late catalogue is a no-no. |
NorthernSkylark
01.28.21 | It’s a no no no nooooooohh |
osmark86
01.28.21 | my old Spice Girls, Aqua and Backstreet Boys CDs from when I was like 9-10 are still killer. no regrets. |
NorthernSkylark
01.28.21 | Fucking Aqua, they were so huge back then it’s almost incomprehensible now. |
Sinternet
01.28.21 | 6 is good

JeremiahBullfrog
01.28.21 | Sinternet - yeah im UK MATE
Dr jones is suuuuch a tune |
osmark86
01.28.21 | had to look up N-Dubz because I never heard of them before. sounds like a UK grime version of Black Eyed Peas. ouf. |
osmark86
01.28.21 | "Dr jones is suuuuch a tune"
riiight?! |
ChoccyPhilly
01.28.21 | Yeah but N-Dubz have somehow aged worse than Black Eyed Peas. Fuck, just look at that 2008 chav fashion on their music videos |
osmark86
01.28.21 | hahaha I noticed. also the lines about "finding you on facebook" haven't exactly aged too well either XD |
ChoccyPhilly
01.28.21 | Shit, time to go on a shitty grime binge. Chip, Giggs, Professor Green, here I come! |
osmark86
01.28.21 | next thing she's wearing my rolex |
JeremiahBullfrog
01.28.21 | N-Dubz is skegness music. Osmark if you dont know what that is, it's the put of hell that opened up on the english coast side, its where we put our most undesirable in holiday camps. |
Shemson
01.28.21 | Nah nah nye |
CalculatingInfinity
01.28.21 | Christ, N-Dubz really were the absolute dregs. |
osmark86
01.28.21 | hahaha cheers for that bit of trivia jeremiah XD. I wasn't aware no. |
zelenichajnik
01.28.21 | Skegness is the place where dreams go to die. It's soul destroying.
We have Margate in the South East for a similar experience. |
MercuryToHell
01.28.21 | Never thought I'd see Margate getting a rep here. |
Sowing
01.28.21 | My version of this list would be enormous. Wasted way too much money on impulse CD buys back in the day. |
zelenichajnik
01.28.21 | My main one was a Gang of Youths import. Don't get me wrong it's solid, but after all the shipping it cost me damn near £50 and it really ain't a £50 album |
claygurnz
01.28.21 | I remember all the rudeboi kids at my secondary school loving N Dubz lool |
JohnnyoftheWell
01.28.21 | a LOT, but within semirecent memory the new National album. bought it on impulse along with This Is Happening and Teens of Desire, all of which in hindsight were a waste of money. some wastes are bigger than others |
zelenichajnik
01.28.21 | I seem to remember finding the public transport skit on that ndubz album very funny as a kid. Simpler times :] |
ReturnToRock
01.28.21 | 'i bought the whole discography, and never listened to any of them.'
So, it isn't just me, then. |
DaveT0738
01.28.21 | I regret buying SFO's Commandment on my early 20's |
ReturnToRock
01.28.21 | - Black Ice (AC/DC) on release day, at full price (at least I got a cool free t-shirt)
- Billy Talent - Afraid of Heights (mainly because I've never listened to it yet since buying it back when it came out - otherwise it's an album I do like to have)
- A Daily Star compilation album for the Sex Pistols (mainly because I saw it again for 'Pay What You Want' some time later, and could have gotten it for literal pennies on the pound)
Most other CDs I own I bought so cheap that they can't really be classified as 'regrets', just 'CDs that are taking up space on my shelf right now.' These include:
- Most brutal death and black metal CDs I still own
- Loads of misfires and/or mediocre records that I've since sold on or given away
- Tantric S/T
- DC4 self-titled
- Urban Dance Squad - Persona Non Grata
- Crosscut - Nonesizefitsall
- Body Count - Violent Demise: The Last Days
- Methods of Mayhem S/T
- Criminal - Cancer
- Knell Odyssey - Sailing to Nowhere
- Donots - Better Days Not Included
- A whole bunch of others by Portuguese or Spanish bands that you probably would not know or even be aware of. |
zelenichajnik
01.28.21 | > A Daily Star compilation album for the Sex Pistols
Arguably the best thing that's ever come out of that shitrag |
combustion07
01.28.21 | 2 was one of the first albums I ever owned. I had the edited version and the censorship was hilarious with moaning and snorting noises replacing the Curse words lol. I went to St. Louis on vacation after it dropped and it was insane. There was literally old ladies on the streets rapping his songs. You heard his shit everywhere. Album was a huge deal for that city. Haven't revisited the album in quite some time |
madrigal30
01.28.21 | i got state lines -- for the boats from counter intuitive records for free when they gave them away as a 5 year anniversary event, and i hate the record, but free vinyl is not something i take lightly |
StonedManatee
01.27.23 | 6 is like the only decent album on that list but I get it. |
BAT
01.27.23 | Lol when I was like 8 or 9 I spent my allowance money on : Sisqo - return of the dragon.
I own a lot of infamously poor albums but they were usually like 50cent gags, sisqo was pain |
