Sput's APRIL 2019 Song of the day (Not dead yet)

Oi, it's the Sloth here with April's song of the day and da sloth got a doozie of a theme to get everyone involved. New and old participants more than welcome. The Sput SOTD is currently on life support in ICU, but with all your help we can keep it alive. This month's theme: Best song you have discovered from an album released in the first quarter of 2019. Easy, hey. Any genre, this is your chance to share that song you love, that maybe no one else has discovered yet, and see what the fully qualified intellectual sput critics think. Feel free to add your rating for each song either in the database, link below, or in the comment section, critiques of each track highly encouraged.

Chasing the Sound

April 12th- DungeonBoy
"Chasing the Sound"
It's a project by user bnelso55 who sometimes shows his face around here, and the full EP releases at the end of this week. It's a multi-instrument folk song that fits well with the season and traverses through several unique passages on its 5 minute journey.

My new SOTY, this guy went from making a super pleasant middle-aged album to this post-folk monstrosity of a record in less than a year. Needless to say it's a 5/5.

Blood Siren

April 19th- Trifolium
"Pistol Whipped"
a coooooool lady with a great voice and some seriously brooding music dripping with tension and a sense of humour too. Hello!?

April 25th- anarchistfish
"Joy Ride"
Hey look at me actually following the monthly theme with this fresh banger forged by hip hop's best new craftsman. If anyone doubted Kevin was the engine of Brockhampton this is the proof
26Pain of Salvation
Remedy Lane

April 26th- Metalrain
A break up ballad by a prog metal band sounds like a recipe for disaster, but they make it work somehow.
