The genre of emo/“screamo” usually gets lumped in with the genres of post-hardcore, hardcore and metalcore due to secondary genre affiliations, so as I’ve 14 other lists before this filled with bands and albums from metalcore, hardcore, post-hardcore and deathcore, I thought I’d take an aside with this one and explore, rightly or wrongly, this particular subgenre. Whether or not these entries have any connotations of -core is a matter of opinion and best left to individual interpretation, no need to be rude. |
