Underworld ranked

Peak Techno music. These guys are heroes. They still blow everyone away in their energetic live sets. Some of the best electronic albums ever released. This list can simultaneously serve as placeholder to discuss their reviewless masterworks like dubnobass and Beacoup Fish. EVERYTHING EVERYTHING? No, not everything, I've never bothered to try their first two.

Barking

Has some great moments, and like always the production is still great. This one is almost awkward but in an endearing let's-party-and-feel-awesome way.

A Hundred Days Off

Undeniably still tasty. Their non-classics are still so good. Warm, always with that Underworld sense for feels yet still clearly able to move those crowds during a show.

Barbara Barbara, we face a shining future

This album is so very warm, a perfect representation of why they're still relevant. Low Burn is a complete beaut.

Oblivion with Bells

So good, Underworld with a little psychedelic awesomeness thrown in for good fun.

Hello!? Three 5.0s in a row. K-K-K-K-King of Snake King Of Snake. Need I say more? Oh yeah, I do, because this has Cups too! And Kittens. And Something Like A Mama. And Skym. And Moaner. Whoa.

Second Toughest in the Infants

Seriously how can you choose the order of their 90s classics? Impossible. But that guitar line in Juanita/Kiteless/To Dream Of Love has sunk into my soul. It's totally perfect. Plus Stagger is amazing.

One of my favourite albums ever. Shows what electronic music can do in the right hands. A journey that never fails to amaze. Dark & Long, Dirty Epic, Cowgirl, R.E....
