| Fear Factory - My Ranking
Recently saw the Static-X - Rise of the Machines Tour in ATL. TBH, I spent my hard-earned money to see an opener, Fear Factory, and less the headliner. And FF's show was excellent btw - Milo Silvestri really brought a lot of energy, and was able to hit both the soaring cleans and harsh vocals. I'm not necessary OG, but came into Fear Factory with the 1995 Mortal Kombat soundtrack (Zero Signal) and 1997's Remanufacture (yes I said Remanufacture, not Demanufacture - it was actually a few years later that I bought Demanufacture). This may not be a popular ranking (for all those who worship Demanufacture), but its' mine. | 1 | | Fear Factory Archetype
An absolute force of an album. A bit more living and breathing, in comparison to Dino Albums. “God, help me pour this gas on me”. My tops - I don't care what anyone thinks... | 2 | | Fear Factory Obsolete
This album is about as unfuckwitable as it gets. | 3 | | Fear Factory Aggression Continuum
Some of the best vocals that Burton Bell has done in his later career. Recoded really got me into this album - and AC is insanely good. | 4 | | Fear Factory Demanufacture
Rarely my "go to" for a recent listen - but a classic album. | 5 | | Fear Factory Mechanize
Two words - Final Exit. And the remainder of the album is incredible too. | 6 | | Fear Factory Digimortal
I know - not everyone's favorite. But some of the best truly industrial FF tracks on this one. | 7 | | Fear Factory Transgression
Yes, Transgression. See my prior list "Transgression Recoded". There are some loser tracks - but there are several winners on here as well. | 8 | | Fear Factory Genexus
Hurts to put this album this low. Actually - I currently listen to it more than 2, 4, and 6. | 9 | | Fear Factory The Industrialist
Not bad - not great. Not sure why this album fails to hit the mark. | 10 | | Fear Factory Soul of a New Machine
I'm not a hater (of this or Concrete). Dig several tracks on here (especially those on Fear is the Mindkiller). Just a bit fledgling compared to Demanufacture and Obsolete, and what was to come. | |

03.19.23 | Kudos for making a list that goes against convention. Mechanize is my favorite | JDubb
03.19.23 | Mechanize - one hella album. I remember, when Mechanize dropped, being a bit upset with how things turned out with the other half of the band. But upon hearing it - especially Christploitation, Powershifter, and Final Exit - realized this album was inspired. | DaveyMonsoon
03.19.23 | 10 continuing to be underappreciated as always it seems. | Muzz79
03.19.23 | Milo is doing a good job I see. Voice is powerful with cleans and harsh vox. It’s not easy singing these songs | Assemblage
03.19.23 | I'm ok with most of this, but I'd definitely have 10 at number 5, XD. Album is hard. | artiswar
03.19.23 | holy shit... I expected this list to be shit but it's actually one of the best ones I've seen on here. Literally the only thing I'd change is bump 10 over 9. | artiswar
03.19.23 | Agression and Obsolete over Demanu?? You are a brave man... And I completely agree with you. And yes, Archetype is 1 | JDubb
03.19.23 | @Muzz79 - I agree on Milo - he has a lot of on-stage presence and interacts well with the crowd. We'll have to see how well he does on the albums. B. Bell will be hard to follow, as he was adept at developing concept albums and accompanying lyrics. | Flugmorph
03.19.23 | interesting and cool ranking |
