Pt. 1 - A Surprisingly Great Take in Pinnellas County, FL

While vacationing at the beach with my family, visited both Sound Exchange and the co-located Mustang/Wagon Wheel Flea Market in Pinnellas County, FL. Purchased a good number of CDs from Sound Exchange (nos. 1 through 6), and would have bought more if I had brought more money. The rest I picked up first at the outdoor Mustang Flea Market, and then from the indoor Wagon Wheel Flea Market. A good idea to check these out if ever in the Tampa area...
1Brant Bjork
Punk Rock Guilt

Purchased new for $11.99 - a steal for such a rare Desert Rock gem!
2Greenleaf
Nest of Vipers

Also purchased new for $8.99 - an incredible stoner rock album out of Sweden.
3My Sleeping Karma
Moksha

After hearing Satya, couldn't wait to hear this one.
4Kylesa
Exhausting Fire

Starting to get into this band's later albums...I've missed out. Sound Exchange had the UK version of this CD for $3.99
5Valley of the Sun
Electric Talons of the Thunderhawk

See my prior list "Ohio Has Some Metal Chops". Add this stoner rock band from Cincinnati, OH to the list! Sound Exchange had this for a whopping $2.99.
6Karma To Burn
Karma to Burn

Unbelievably picked this up from Sound Exchange for $0.99. I dig some Karma To Burn and about did a flip in the store when I saw it...
7Dream Theater
Images and Words

Never had this one. Found it for a whopping $0.33 at the Mustang Flea Market. A great listen, as expected.
8Dream Theater
Live at Budokan

The three CD set also $0.33 at the Mustang Flea Market...unbelievable!
9Sneaker Pimps
Becoming X

The final "3 for $1" purchase. Really dig the first track with a harder edge, but just an OK album across the board.
10Anberlin
Blueprints for City Friendships

All three first albums, including Cities which is awesome, for $1 at the Mustang Flea Market.
11King's X
Ear Candy

Had never heard much King's X or this album before, an interesting listen. Not sure where to classify this band. A good $1 buy.
12Operator
Soulcrusher

This is better than most give it credit for....and yes, the vocalist sounds like Chris Cornell. May could do without some of the slow tracks. Happy with this $1 buy.
13MxPx
Before Everything & After

Last CD I bought at the Mustang Flea Market...yes for $1. A bit of a disappointment...was looking for something more similar to their earlier albums.
14The Prodigy
Music for the Jilted Generation

Picked this up for $2 in the Wagon Wheel Flea Market. A good transitional album between Experience, their first album, and Fat of the Land (my fav of the three)
15Green Day
American Idiot

Not a huge Green Day fan. But for some reason, I dig the concept and message behind this album. Picked up for $1.
16Live
Birds Of Pray

For $1, decided to pick this up. It's an OK album...nothing to write home about. Came with a live DVD that should be cool.
17Course of Empire
Initiation

An industrial/post-punk band from the early 1990's. Hadn't heard this album before, but had heard that it was good. An interesting listen, but a bit dated. My last $1 buy at the Wagoon Wheel Flea Market
