A Dream of Energy and Destruction
Had a vivid nightmare the morning of April 26. No clue as to the meaning of the dream. But check it out and let me know if you have any interpretive thoughts. |

"Downtown in Dogtown". I found myself in a downtown hotel sky rise in a large city. I was surrounded by former acquaintances, who were present in the hotel as well. Although I knew these people, there are none that I could individually recall. |

"Burning Bright". I decided to take a stroll outside. I walked out of the sky rise and the sky was bright, similar to a midday sun. |

"Of Energy". I was walking uphill and up the sidewalk along an adjacent street when I viewed a gigantic, energy cloud around a mile or 2 down the road. It hung low in the sky, just above ground level. The sky began to darken as the energy cloud grew in power and intensity. |

Lightning Bolt
"Lightning Bolt". The energy cloud was green in color, with green lightning crackling, and moving in and out of the cloud. Looked almost as if a living energy. |

"Smokestack Lightning". Coming out of the cloud were smoky tentacles, which stretched outward in several directions. One of the tentacles came towards me and stopped just before me. This was reminiscent of the animated water in the movie The Abyss. The smoky tentacle then began to come towards me, at which point I quickly turned and ran back towards the hotel. |

"Rising Storm". I realized that this was a developing storm of massive proportion. Upon entering the hotel, I warned everyone of the impending energy storm. |

Higher Truth
"Through the Window". From a high room within the hotel, I was able to look out the side of the window and up the street, to watch the energy storm take shape. The room had large, sturdy, rectangular windows on two sides, in which I could see a large portion of the city around me. |

"Hole in the Sky". The energy storm morphed into a vast hole in the sky. Reminiscent of the wormhole in the movie The Avengers, the hole was a portal between our world and something heinous above. There was green electricity and smoke pouring out of the hole. The hole itself was dark in color with rolling, angry clouds. |

Downer
"Mud Bath". Next, the hole in the sky unleashed three torrential rains into the city. Flood waters ran down the road towards the hotel, mixing with mud along the way and become mudslides. During the first mudslide, people were driving and running in all directions. The 2nd and 3rd mudslides encased several cars in mud, including mine (in a parking deck), as well as the people driving them. From the hotel window, I saw a truck and driver become encased in mud, and people drastically attempting to slog their way through the roiling mud to the hotel. |

"Tornado". I then noticed that the hole in the sky further darkened. It became as night, and the hole began to vomit tornadoes. The tornadoes, one after another, were moving rapidly away from the hole in a radial fashion, wreaking absolute havoc within the city. I stopped watching and proceeded to lay on the floor of my hotel room, along with several others in the room. My Woman was now in my dream. I cradled her in my arms, spooning and kissing her head, and praying for the best. |

"Vortex". I looked up periodically to catch a glance out the windows. I saw that one of the tornadoes passed above us, never touching down. Shortly thereafter, another tornado came hurtling down the road, rapidly passing between our hotel and another skyscraper across the street. I could see the swirling vortex as it passed the windows. There was no sound – a dead quiet. And none of the windows broke in my hotel room. |

"April Rain". As the final tornado passed, I looked back through the side of the window and up the street to where the energy storm/hole in the sky had once been. The storm had passed. The sky became light once again, as if the sun was breaking out after a hard, but intense, rain. |
