Favorite Alternative/Progressive Metal

We all have subgenres of hard rock and metal, which we hold most dear. To me, Alternative/Progressive Metal (and the associated bands) is the pinnacle of metal. What other form of metal can truly open up your ajna chakra and promote heightened consciousness. Although you may disagree; in my honest opinion, all other subgenres pale in comparison. This list includes my favorite thirty albums within this subgenre. Should you have any RECs, please do not hesitate to send them my way and thank you in advance. Just recently found out about the band Boil on this website and am pretty excited.
