butt.
06.26.18 | I hope this list is at least as meaningless as the albums on it. Sorry in advance about MBV. |

06.26.18 | 5's inclusion will probably upset some people
Not me though |
ArsMoriendi
06.26.18 | Minus the Bear - Highly Refined Pirates is probably the most forgettable album I've heard
Such a 2.5 that 2.6 an 2.4 just seem too wrong |
Zeuzo
06.26.18 | Portishead- Dummy |
ArsMoriendi
06.26.18 | "Portishead- Dummy"
But that's one of my 5s o.O |

Rik VII
06.26.18 | Kinda agreed with the unpopular opinion on 5. Dummy is one of the all-time greatest though. Immense record with countless amazing ideas. |

Zeuzo
06.26.18 | @Rik wow that was painful |
butt.
06.26.18 | If I put any effort into this (and made it longer) I would definitely put some radiohead and linkin park in here |
Rik VII
06.26.18 | "[insert any radiohead album here]"

@Zeuzo: Just trolling, don't mind me. But you have to like Roads at the very least, RIGHT?? |
InFlamesWeThrash666
06.26.18 | I wish i was every time i hear one of their songs |

Zeuzo
06.26.18 | Rik, no worries bud, I know :D
Not really :( I can’t find anything interesting here
Mysterons and Glory Box are way better imo. Only 2 songs I can listen to without falling asleep.

06.26.18 | *Insert any re-recording of an 80s thrash album (Let There Be Blood, The Final Sign of Evil, etc.)* |
Rik VII
06.26.18 | Mysterons is one of the best yeah, that one has a very distinctive sound. Glory Box has a great build-up in the chorus. Sour Times is probably the most catchy I'd say, I'm kinda surprised you didn't mention that one.
On a side-note, the vocal performance on It's a Fire is taaasty. |
ArsMoriendi
06.26.18 | Roads is my fave on Dummy, but honestly any song on there makes sense as a #1 except maybe It's a Fire or Strangers |
Rik VII
06.26.18 | It Could Be Sweet has crept up there for me. The vulnerable vocals with the tender backing instruments go straight to the heart, yet it has that certain haunting darkness to it. |
ArsMoriendi
06.26.18 | I really love Biscuit too |
StallionMang
06.26.18 | "David Bowie
The Buddha of Suburbia
I bet you didn't even know this existed"
wow um, y-youre right |
Zeuzo
06.26.18 | Can’t really say anything about other tracks besides the ones I mentioned, they kind of became blurred, even though I tried my hardest and focused as much as I could on the album like 10 times to see why it’s average is so high. Still don’t know |
Sharkattack
06.26.18 | Minus the bear is a perpetual 2.5 band. Buscuit is the best song on dummy. |
cold
06.26.18 | Highly Refined Pirates is the fuckin jam you nerds |
sixdegrees
06.27.18 | whose alt are you |
WoodeeX
06.27.18 | love 1 but ya the rest of them I agree. id also include Hybrid Theory. No idea why that got popular. |
Zeuzo
06.27.18 | No idea how can someone like this shitty as trash cringe band |
Demon of the Fall
06.27.18 | Agreed on 5, never understood the love for that album. People slagging off Dummy in here isn't cool though. |
hal1ax
06.27.18 | Dummy [3] along with every other portishead record |
SherlockChris9021
06.27.18 | I try not to diminish your view, but calling Loveless the album that is best to forget is the stupidest words I have ever seen. Sure, it is not accessible for everyone, but this album is the best album in the shoegazing genre. If it wasn't for Loveless, I could not imagine how rock would be in this day. "bees farting"? Go for another listen, and edit this list again. |
butt.
06.27.18 | "If it wasn't for Loveless, I could not imagine how rock would be in this day"
Bruh that's like saying if it wasn't for Abbey Road, I don't know how punk would be in this day. There's almost no correlation at all. Loveless has a cult following. MBV has never been popular among mainstream audiences at all. Also, it's at the bottom of this list. Meaning K.O.D. is the best album to forget. |
butt.
06.27.18 | And keep in mind...this isn't a list of terrible albums. It's just a list of albums that sit perfectly enough in the middle for me to forget I even listened to them. |
cold
06.27.18 | I could easily forget every single Beatles album |
Zeuzo
06.27.18 | [2], worst band in existence |
SherlockChris9021
07.11.18 | Okay...maybe I would listen "Only Shallow" in a repeated basis, this is like the most memorable song in the album. Besides, this list is mainly filled with terrible albums, which made me confuse, so I'm sorry for that matter.
Moreover, you should realise there are countless rock bands cited MBV and Loveless as influence. |
