|Type O Negative Ranked|
Ranking of my second favorite band.
|1||Type O Negative|
Most solid album as a whole. Most pretty/atmospheric album that takes you on a beautiful, melancholy, bittersweet journey. Last 2 tracks are incredible back to back. No weak moments at all on this.
|2||Type O Negative|
My first TON album. This blew my freaking mind the first time I listened to it. Has some of the strongest individual tracks from TON's entire discography. And even though some of the tracks are weird/out of place, it works together quite well to make a dark humored, heavy, gothic masterpiece of an album.
|3||Type O Negative|
Life Is Killing Me
TON album with the shortest average song length so not quite as atmospheric as the two above it, but it's a nice change of pace. Songs never wear out their welcome, but still hit you in that TON type of way. Best variety of different moods/messages of songs.
|4||Type O Negative|
World Coming Down
A vey dark, at the same time very light TON album. Probably their most serious album content/lyric wise that still features happy/joyous moments as well.
|5||Type O Negative|
An album that took me a while to appreciate. Definitely the most progressive/musically ambitious TON album with incredibly long songs with no fillers/interludes/jokes at all. Starting to connect with it emotionally like the other albums now.
|6||Type O Negative|
Slow, Deep, and Hard
TON's debut. Even though it's at the bottom of the list I still really love it in all its weirdness/goofiness. Probably the most fun/lighthearted album even though it's about death and murder. Great riffs and the "live" album to accompany it is hilarious.
|2 will ALWAYS be 1|
|I am torn between 1 and 2 but they are definitely their best.|
|Yeah honestly every week I flip from 2 or 1 being best. |
|#5 (Dead Again) is my #3 (maybe even #2), otherwise I am good with the order. Ever checked out the Nosferatu movie with Type O score? |
|@Dominion - I counted TOOTF and Slow, Deep, and Hard as the same. |
And JDUbb I've been meaning to check that out actually, looks like it could be cool.
|What makes the origin...so terrible is that they decide to simulate a live album, when it's actually an studio album.|
|2,1,3,4,6,5 Good ranking|
|Ocean of Noise|
|Can't say I agree much with the ranking but I do love this band. World Coming Down has always been my favourite, and it's one of my favourite albums of all time.|
