Ozzy Sabbath Ranked
1Black Sabbath
Paranoid

The obvious choice, but impossible to overplay and perfect, including the interludes.
2Black Sabbath
Master Of Reality

Just shy of the number one spot, mainly due to the interludes and track sequencing not being quite as strong as on Paranoid
3Black Sabbath
Vol. 4

I think Supernaut is the best BS song and this album features the last of their truly doomy moments in tracks like Under The Sun. The real tracks are as good as on Paranoid and MoR, but the interludes are truly pointless and disrupt the album.
4Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath

Best album art of their career and the original tracks on here are untouchable, but the covers, while it is nice that they pay tribute to the band's blues rock background, are a cut below the originals.
5Black Sabbath
Sabotage

Bit of a mixed bag, but when it's good, it's real good. Amazing performances all around even if some of the songwriting isn't as strong as earlier entries.
6Black Sabbath
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

Not a huge fan of the production on this one, which drops it into a lower slot than Sabotage, even though I think this is the more consistent album.
7Black Sabbath
Technical Ecstasy

Dirty Women is an excellent song, Gypsy and Rock n Roll Doctor are ok, but the rest is a clear sign of writer's block and a lack of band cohesion.
8Black Sabbath
Never Say Die!

I can't get into any of this, even the couple of iconic tracks and more acclaimed deep cuts.
