Demon of the Fall: Demon's top 38(+2) of '21

Demon of the Fall 01.07.22	Need to add some sazzzzz but yeah this is it, I didn't go as hard after new releases this year until about August when I was eternally playing catch-up. Very roughly ranked, especially from about 15 onwards.

Demon of the Fall 01.07.22	It was a massive grower. I did like it instantly but there are so many cool details and moments I missed at first. Perfectly balanced between standout crescendos and taking you on a longer more considered journey. They took the better parts of Braindrops low-key approach to enhance the overall formula. To begin with I didn't think it would topple Meatspace. And yeah the vocal performances are very striking and their eccentricity certainly enhances the experience. and thanks

Demon of the Fall 12.15.23	18, 19 + 40 would now be way higher. Top 5 mostly holds up but 6-10 (+ Bloodmoon) is so much less convincing in retrospect, damn
Azazzel 12.15.23	did you blast the new one from Vertebrae Atlantis this year? v good. Hyperdontia also had a nice EP I also was happy to stumble on 17 for non metal agree 1-5 hold up + Der Weg for sure as great. First Fragment and Bloodmoon definitely benefited from the shiny luster of the new but they were and are fine in their own respect
