Thank you! I think I've heard Volume 2 once or twice, but it's been a while! It's probably due for a relisten. And I am into darkwave! 4 is a good example of an album that blends darkwave with electropop. Not sure if you're familiar with Deine Lakaien, but I LOVE them as well. If you have any recs in that vein, I'd appreciate it! |

01.10.25 | I looooove 10 right now |
cylinder
01.10.25 | love that album so much, one of my first electronic albums actually. seems to have a playful sense of humor that comes through in subtle ways. also very very trippy at times |
Demon of the Fall
01.10.25 | I don't remember digging Mouse on Mars, maybe I should go again
2 is pretty amazing, almost as good as that Lifted album I plucked from one of your other lists. The gift that keeps on giving. Thanks! |
Ladron93

Oh shit, I like Wolfsheim's Casting Shadows. I forgot it. It has a vibe of Covenant's Northern Light (2002), which is splendid.
Nice. I heard some Deine Lakaien's songs. They're not bad, somehow the band didn't click me the songs they've produced.
As for recs? There's a lot of darkwave albums I can recommend you. But I prolly can name you 3 atm:
Hante. - FIERCE
Saigon Blue Rain - Oko
Dead Astronauts - Ghosts (with some Synthwave) |

Glad you're digging Oval, man! That's one of my all-time faves of any genre. My pleasure :) One other one here I'm pretty sure you'd dig is 82. It's got that moody, noirish trip-hop sound you seem to appreciate |
cylinder
01.11.25 | @Ladron
Thank you for the recs! Will definitely put those on my list. |

01.11.25 | No problem, cylinder. ^^ |
