Drifter
03.04.23 | yeahhhhhh peep any one of these and ill be a proud little drifter. esp kray cause that album is crazy good and consistent for how many songs it's got but its nothing surprising coming from him. here's the link i listened before i copped a cd since it's not on streaming https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VF1qe-dd1dw |

03.04.23 | Seen all your dj quik ratings, I actually jammed one of his albums this week. Also been jamming some eazy-e, based list |
Drifter
03.04.23 | i almost put his first album on this list cause he was messing around with e and ruthless around that time but doesnt quite fit. eazy is incredible he's still somehow underrated for what he put out, all 4 of his projects range from great to outstanding. it's a shame all the unreleased songs of his got stolen and/or destroyed cause there's just not enough of him. |
PotsyTater
03.04.23 | The eazy e albums I’ve been jamming are It’s On and str8 off tha street and the dj quik alb is safe and sound |
Drifter
03.04.23 | it's so cool how those two eazy projects were supposed to be the first hip hop double album with other tracks added. i wonder what they were and what the tracklist would've looked like
safe and sound is classic shit. it's cool how it was exec produced by suge knight. which means nothing but giving some room to kind of technically sort of lump it in with death row albums since he was affiliated and working with them anyways. and cause dollaz and sense was on murder was the case. i actually just got into that album while i was working a few weeks ago idk why for the longest i wasn't much into it. his opus is balance and options for me though that album is a smash. way 2 fonky is also really great for his early stuff |
PotsyTater
03.04.23 | I’ll check Dat one next |
Drifter
03.04.23 | i cant believe pots has become a west coast head i never ever thought id see the day he'd be jamming eazy e but damn we're here |
PotsyTater
03.04.23 | It’s literally ur fault |
Spec
03.04.23 | Was also very surprised to see you in this list. Was expecting rude remarks if anything. |
PotsyTater
03.04.23 | Lol |
Drifter
03.04.23 | damn im proud of myself then m/ |
Drifter
03.07.23 | it’s kind of depressing how much talent was on ruthless at one time but just was not utilized properly. i always thought that was a big mistake on ruthless’ part to not be like death row or no limit and have a lot of inter-label collaboration. like mc ren should’ve absolutely done songs with bone and bg knocc out and dresta should’ve absolutely made songs with ren. they could’ve had an empire like the other labels but instead they just put out a ton of unrelated stuff. |
Drifter
03.07.23 | man kokane is such a talent i cant believe he's not more recognized. i guess cause he's more popular from features than his own music but it's a shame. people dont recognize him for the legend he is |
Drifter
03.09.23 | Runnin' with the AK-47 buckin' heated heavy, swear they love the way I wet 'em when I get up in 'em |
combustion07
03.09.23 | I haven't heard Kokane in a very long time! Gotta go back to that one. Dig all of the other albums here. I feel like Ren gets slept on way too much. |
Drifter
03.10.23 | you heard this krayzie album? shit is ridiculously good. 40 tracks of straight fire |
combustion07
03.10.23 | Yessir! It's probably the one I've jammed the most out of all of the solo Bone stuff. Crazy how good it manages to be with the length. Might be the best hip hop double album tbh |
Drifter
03.10.23 | yeah its definitely top 4 for me cause all eyez on me, life after death, and the art of war are just TOO GOOD. and yeah its astonishing how consistent it is shits incredible. def one of the best solos but i got a few bizzy albums in front of it as he is in my top 3 rappers all time lol |
