Most influential hip hop artists?

artists with an album or series of albums that captured the hip hop atmosphere at the time and influenced some aspect of hip hop in the future. wrote the first 6 i felt belonged
1Wu-Tang Clan
Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)

they represented shaolin but preached about universal unity. arguably (and officially) the best hip hop group that still has a worldwide following and brand. If I had to pick one member, it would be RZA because he was the heart of wutang, did all or most the beats, and dropped supersonic flows on a lot of Wu's best albums.
2Eric B and Rakim
Paid in Full

this was one of the first albums that sold well and rakim inspired the 90s generation to never foresake lyrcisim
3DJ Screw
3 'N The Mornin' (Part Two)

perfectly slow music with a distinct sound that showed houston how they can have their own original style despite not being from the west or east coast. and low key unfortunately popularized lean abuse which is still going on to this day
4Ice-T
O.G. Original Gangster

his debut was the first album to ever needed an explicit label on his record. The O.G. is a direct influence to Dre, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg and pretty much all west coast rap. Made Gangsta Rap popular. Dont get caught up in boston legal or his morning show haha, growing up as he did he probably just sees it as easy money.
5Kanye West
808s and Heartbreak

i dont care much for him or more than maybe 2 songs on that album, but there's no denying his experimental vast soundscapes can be mindblowing. production on mbdtf was incredible. inspired many current successful artists to prioritize vibe and production over all else
6Three 6 Mafia
Mystic Stylez

pioneered trap way before trap was popular. lord infamous' triplet rap style seems to be popular nowadays. one of two rap artists who have dropped a classic (The Marshall Mathers LP, Mystic Styles) and win an oscar sometime after
