Calling Recs: "Double Take" Albums

We've all had that album - or well, at least I have - that we listened to and never really heard the first time around and therefore wasn't able to pass a very nuanced opinion on it. But then upon relistening, you find that is an album you enjoyed. It's just like crossing a person on the sidewalk who you don't notice at first, but then when you look back, notice is actually really hot. Like, a "double take". Are there any albums that did that for you? Please recommend them! I'll post some of mine on this list.
1Strapping Young Lad
City

The first time I heard this, I was already a Devin fan but hadn't heard any SYL. However, I shut my brain off to it when I got into an internet argument while listening to it for the first time. On top of that, this album is a very raw, roller-coaster album - I can see it being an acquired taste for people. But, when I revisited it some months later, it became one of my favorite albums ever. Now if I play one song on this album, I wind up playing the whole thing.
2Therion
Vovin

This one is the inspiration for this list. I became a fan of Therion's Secret of the Runes in high school - perhaps around sophomore year. I gave Vovin a very distracted listen, and cannot remember why. I just revisited it because I was considering some Therion albums for a group activity, and actually love it more than Secret of the Runes, which is perhaps one of my favorite albums. If only I had heard it sooner, I might have actually chosen this one. Very bittersweet, but I suppose a good discovery for me.
3The Moody Blues
Days of Future Passed

I know this album is a classic and loved by many. Hear me out before you kill me - when I first heard it, I was very, very young - too young to have too many memories, although this one is pretty clear. I lived in New Zealand at the time, and one of my closest uncles loved this album and would play it sometimes. I remember one song: Nights in White Satin, but I didn't know what it was called. I didn't remember the name or lyrics at the time, just one part of the chorus - the choir singing in the back of it which I thought sounded like eagles. After my uncle passed away, I spent a long time looking for that song/album. Would have been a quick google find if I had known the lyrics.
