07.12.16 | nothing (and by that i mean "no act", not "the band called nothing", who suck live btw) on the saturday lineup seemed especially noteworthy to me except the bands you've already listed. i guess the strumbellas might be kinda fun? idk, my best advice is to just go through the acts on the lineup you're unfamiliar with and listen to a song or two, see if you like how they sound. that's what i do before music festivals |

07.12.16 | i think lolla's just gotten so big that they've gotten cocky and complacent. they start selling tickets before they've announced a single act and the tickets still sell out in minutes because it's lolla, so they don't have to put any effort into curating a solid lineup. whereas lesser known festivals have to actually work to put together an interesting bill and attract attendees |

07.12.16 | yeah, foxing is amazing live, and frightened rabbit puts on a great show too. if you weren't already seeing band of horses i'd recommend checking out twin limb. they're a promising new act with a really unique setup and sound. |
