What's Your BEST Review?

Getting things started with my choice and some personal favorites not by me to offset the back-patting

review by me

I may or may not have been desperately grasping to emulate Butcherboy's fantastic To Be Kind review (linked below), but hey, if you're gonna steal steal from the best right? I think the nature of the album allows this rev to skirt the feeling of "god I should have gone into more detail on that point, that isn't persuasive at all" I often get with old reviews. postmodern shit is hard to get a handle on and critique in a substantive way and I think I managed to make a point that I can stand by to this day

"My Zach Bryan review is definitely one I'm most proud of. One of my longer write ups (which says a lot considering I'm usually one to write short/couple paragraph reviews). Definitely one of my most emotional reviews and longest to write... took me about a week and a half because I wanted to make sure I was hitting every single aspect of the music and story itself."

"I was and still am decently proud of this, even if it doesn't even come close to the top of what some of the other guys can produce here."

Review by Get Low

"I feel like I nailed the sweet spot of mixing a personal narrative into a thorough thesis on that review, and the way I wrote that review has since become the backbone for how I construct all of my other reviews. I sort of inspired myself with that review in a sense."
