My Black Malachite Albums List WORST to BEST

Like him or not, no one can deny the extreme work ethic of Black Malachite, the Electronic music artist who will pump out multiple albums in the span of 1 year. Here is my personal list of his albums ranked worst to best. NOTE: I am including his compilations and EPs as well.
16Black Malachite

Yikes... I'm not quite sure what Black was thinking when he made this. The songs sound like retreads of previous material but worse, and the overall product is just lacking.
15Black Malachite
Distortion World

Black's debut had much to be desired for. Many of the tracks were very basic and the album itself felt empty.
14Black Malachite
Distortion World [Redux]

Some tracks were improved, but it was overall nearly the same experience.
13Black Malachite
Black Malachite

Black's s/t was underwhelming to say the least. From a lack of consistency to a lack of memorable tracks. I suppose the key word defining this album is "lacking".
12Black Malachite
The Forgotten - EP

A complete drop in quality from Pitch Dark Neon, The Forgotten was a forgettable release from an artist who can, and has, done better.
11Black Malachite
We All Come To An End

This album had definite shades of potential and, although it was let down towards the second half, it was still a good release.
10Black Malachite

It definitely felt like a retread of Pitch Dark Neon, but I'm not going to complain. Black chose a good album to retread.
9Black Malachite
Reaper Roots

It's strict adherence to slow songs and emotional ballads can become grading after the first five tracks, but all the songs have a defining characteristic and the editing is stupendous on this release.
8Black Malachite

This was another release with potential that had a problem with tonal inconsistency. Many of the tracks jump from style to style without finding time to mesh together, forming a less than coherent whole. The tracks themselves are good however.
7Black Malachite
The Keys Collection

Improved some tracks while adding a couple of new ones to the mix. It wasn't an amazing album, but it wasn't terrible. It was just sort of "there".
6Black Malachite

This shit fucking creeped me out at first, and Black had captured the sinister emotion of horror very well in the first two tracks, the second two tracks rushed off into generic metal territory however and almost killed the feel of the album. Still a good release though.
5Black Malachite
Pitch Dark Neon

An amalgamation of the past, reincarnated to fit the present. Black incorporated multiple retro styles, while still finding a way to keep them fresh enough for a contemporary audience. Definitely one of his finest releases.
4Black Malachite
~ D E A T H W A V E ~

I had low expectations for this to be quite honest, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it actually was. Great tracks given a hefty vaporwave skin, Black malachite played with fire, then made some smores. To sum it up, they were good smores.
3Black Malachite
Torn Soul

With Black delving into Metal territory, one could be understandably skeptical. However, Torn Soul completely shatters any negative expectations for a cold, deafening reality. A standout release.
2Black Malachite

A largely guitar focused record. Nightfall features Malachite at his most focused and determined. Each track is memorable to some degree and it's guitar centered theme carry over a consistent tone throughout the record. By far it is one of Black's finest records.
1Black Malachite
Our Demons Are At Peace

Insanely good. Our Demons Are At Peace carry's over the Haunted-EP's horror theme, while also adding the experimentalwave style of ~ D E A T H W A V E ~. Each track feels like a different experience, but all of the tracks form a coherent whole with no bad tonal deficiencies. There is no doubt in my mind, Our Demons Are At Peace is Black Malachite's greatest album release.
