My Top 5 Albums of 2015

These are my top 5 favorite, I know a decent amount of these albums weren't the best, but I personally enjoyed them.
1Blue Stahli
The Devil

This is the one album this year I thought was simply amazing. Unlike the previous 4 albums on the list, I am still not even a bit tired of this one. All the tracks were either fun, catchy, intense, deep, or a mix of any of the 4. I really liked their first album, but this one is simply incredible. (and honestly I feel like this is the 1 album on the list I won't get much gripe for putting on here). Although "Shoot Em Up" didn't appeal to me much when I first listened to it. When I listened to it with commentary, I realized the writing of the song was extremely deep. Bret Autrey is one to amaze, and I can't wait until Blue Stahli's 3rd vocal album!
2Breaking Benjamin
Dark Before Dawn

Dear Agony honestly felt a bit forgettable. I liked the album to a point, but this one blows it out of the water. Even though tracks like "Failure" get a bit on the generic side, unlike Dear Agony, there are tracks like "Hollow" to keep the album afloat. Hollow is perhaps my new favorite song by them. It not only rocked but was pretty well written as well.
3Papa Roach
F.E.A.R.

This was another one I initially had mixed feelings about. The difference is, Malevolence was my first taste of "New Year's Day", this band I had experience with. I not only listened to them a lot as a kid, but also saw them live at Rockville 2013. So one could imagine how disappointed I was at first. Then I heard "Gravity" a decent amount of times on the radio, and realized at that point, this is another album I couldn't just give 1 shot, I had to listen to it again. I liked "Gravity" besides the obnoxious croaking they called a bridge. I thought tracks like the title track captured some of the spirit of their earlier albums. I all in all really liked the album.
4New Years Day
Malevolence

I was mixed at first, for me at first it just sounded like "Early Paramore but less", but the more I listened to it the more I liked it. "Anthem of The Unwanted" had a punch to it, and some good lyrics, making it my favorite on the album.
5Saint Asonia

Yeah, this barely made #5, I was choosing between this and "Human" by Three Days Grace. Then I remember Matt sounds appallingly whiny at certain points in the album. Also the song "One Too Many" is their worst song by a long shot. This album was generic in certain areas, but it had some gems on it, making it a pretty good album, at least in my view.
