It's been too long, so the list grind has resumed. I felt like starting with the drumming stuff this time and will release the "best of" lists soon after.
Thank you for the compliments! @Yoyo Yeah the grooves on Witchcraft definitely made it a contender. Motor Spirit was another one I had in heavy consideration. Cavs for sure was influenced by Danny Carey on that one.
Ikr because it supposed to be an unassuming rock passage, but that last fill is like “all of the sudden I’m a free jazz drummer now” and it’s pretty sick.
Love Thantifaxath. Not sure if you were just playing into the anonymous thing or if you don’t know, but Tyler Coburn from Yautja was drumming for them when I saw them in Chicago late last year. Absolute beast. Not sure how long he’s been with them.
