I remember the family pet we had for a long time was a black lab named Dakota. We had to put him down because he became so infested with bot flies that there was no weeding them out at a point. He was 9 iirc |

09.13.24 | Wife and I have 4 cats. 1 male, 3 female. Two of them are shelter cats and two are strays that we took in. Our lone boy is a fucking asshole but all 3 girls are as precious as could be. But the two that are shelter cats (Arnold and Scully) are the biggest handful. That early trauma of being locked in a cage around the clock, resorting to base instincts to maintain your territory, never really go away. |
