Coherence
This is fantastic. Be'lakor know how to craft these winding, beautiful yet equally dismal adventures with a rather slow-burning technical finesse-and they prove it well here. Speaking of technical finesse, Archspire once again raise the simple question of "how the fuck do they do it?". Rap growls that make Rap God look like 6ix9ine's first rap battle at the kiddie pool. Dweedle dee shreds that leave your flesh as a pile of crimson ribbon. Blast beats that make you question if Spencer Prewett was born with additional horse-strength legs. Whew lad, are they fast. Inspiration Is DEAD
Thank you Ergo Proxy for inspiring my discovery of this band. This is so cathartic and heart wrenching and fun and chaotic-truly the best amalgamation of emo and math rock that one could ever expect. Japan's usual flair for oddball individuality also shows, as the vocals exude both passion and high-pitched wailing eccentricity. It is gud. | | 5 |  | Azusa
