Extreme metal.

There isn't much to really say. It's certainly a heavy, grinding assault and it does manage to sound thick and heavy, but it's also surprisingly boring even with interesting acoustic midsection. I hate to sound like the majority of people, but the song simply consists of way to much chugging to remain interesting. I mean again, it's certainly aggressive, but it doesn't have anything interesting really happening. 2.8/5

Jesus, this was a freak show of a song. It's pulsing with a psychotic rage, utilizing both perfectly atonal riffage and broken screams to make something incredibly dark and chaotic. Definitely an odd song, but totally enjoyable and it puts this album on my music radar. 4.2/5 | | 4 |  | Nasum

That riff starting at 1:35 is goddamn sexy. I don't have too many words for this track. It's crushing, has quality riffs, some of extremely explosive drumming like c-4 being detonate, fairly powerful grind-style growls and screams, and...a touch of melodeath flair? I don't know what gives me that feeling, but it certainly lingers about this track. 3.6/5

Literally the most maddened schizophrenic vocals i've heard in an extremely long time, which is backed by an equally unpredictable, dark and piercing instrumental section. The low, muddy bass especially does an awesome job bubbling from beneath chunky riffs and monstrous roars to help bring forth a slab of blunt force. Really, if you are going to do grind (they are a grind band if I am correct) you may as well make it as insanely heavy and m/ as possible. 4.3/5 | | 6 |  | Drouth

Man, how do you put out so many perfect recs? This track (album, actually. I listened to all of it immediately after hearing this) is so distant and desolate, like a lone wolfs howl emerging from a cold, starless winter night. It's atmospheric black metal tinged with hardcore done to perfection, with raw, primal drum patterns and guitar work to headbang to but just enough atmosphere to retain that perfect lo-fi black metal vibe. 4.4/5 | | 7 |  | Altar of Plagues

Absolutely killer, my friend! "Burnt Year" is reminiscent of a desolate, disposed industrial zone where all the inhabits have encroached upon by nuclear acids to the very bone. The track is harrowing ( a word that I perhaps toss around too often), with its crackling shrieks and industrial noises dotting an extremely pulsing, dissonant and discordant landscape. This whole track is so jumbled, so fucked up and then, silence. It halts to a near complete stop, and ends with some gorgeous guitar work, contrasting the rest of this song extremely well. 4.5/5.
