arthropod 08.18.25	Well... I'm more of a pop rock person, but I can rec some. Runaway Horses by Belinda Carlisle. Bought a CD lately, it's a good '89 album and La Luna is still an absolute jam. Signs of Life by Poets of the Fall. All their albums are awesome (reviewed one recently), but this is my favourite. Envy by Framing Hanley. Their poppiest record to date and with the strongest songwriting too.

el_newg 08.18.25	Marina and the Diamonds - The Family Jewels I saw you have a couple of Marina albums rated, but this one is my fav by far. Purity Ring - Another Eternity Synthpop similar to Chvrches, which you have highly rated. Really like the songwriting on this record.

RadioSuicide 08.20.25	respectable takes and rate, it certainly does take a dip in quality around the midway point, though for my money it’s still enjoyable. the person who rec’d Like A Prayer is a madman. functionally the same as someone asking for rock recs and being like hmmm you should check Who’s Next.

PanosChris 08.31.25	if you're still accepting recs, then 'In A Poem Unlimited' by U.S. Girls is still one of the best pop records of the 2010s for me -- different shades of pop within it (from dance and synth-pop to psychedelic-pop) and yeah, this list rules; the Monae, Kenney and Beach House records are incredible
