S-Tier Songs Off Crappy Albums

Thought I'd take a break from ranking different discographies and do something a little special. Recently hit 1200 ratings so let's just call this a celebration of sorts. A couple things to note though:
1Corey Feldman
Angelic 2 The Core

"Crappy" is defined by an album that is either straight-up bad, immensely disappointing, or an album that is perceived by the general public of being terrible.
2Talking Heads
Remain in Light

"S-Tier" is defined as a song that is top notch. I'm not just considering guilty pleasures (though there are still lots of those). The songs I consider "S-Tier" have to legitimately slap, and slap HARD.
3Peppa Pig
Peppa's Adventures: The Album

Lastly - this is in no particular order. I went through my rankings and added songs as I thought of them. Enough wasting time!!
4All Time Low
Last Young Renegade

LIFE OF THE PARTY

This is All Time Low going full on pop, and doing it WELL. Every now and then I hear this song and am tempted to give LYR another shot, but I don't want to just disappoint myself again.
5Fall Out Boy
American Beauty/American Psycho

THE KIDS AREN'T ALRIGHT

Stump just sounds so good on this track, and the chorus is god damn catchy.
6Metro Station
Metro Station

SHAKE IT

Okay yeah, this is pure guilty pleasure material. Not ashamed of it.
7Nicki Minaj
Pink Friday

ROMAN'S REVENGE (FEAT. EMINEM)

Another guilty pleasure. This one I'm a little ashamed of.
8Taylor Swift
Reputation

...READY FOR IT?

Okay yeah, the rapped verses are a bit iffy, but this is otherwise top-notch Taylor Swift in my book.
9Thirty Seconds to Mars
Love Lust Faith + Dreams

UP IN THE AIR

This song is stupid and slaps way harder than it has any right to. I saw this live too when I was younger - maybe that's why I still like it.
10Linkin Park
One More Light

ONE MORE LIGHT

No explanation needed really. This song hits so much harder since Bennington passed.
11Weezer
Raditude

TRIPPING DOWN THE FREEWAY

I could've put a few songs from this trainwreck of an album on this list. Even when Weezer's at their worst, they always churn out a couple decent songs.
12CHVRCHES
Love Is Dead

GRAFFITI

Man, my hopes were SO HIGH after hearing this opening track, only for the rest of the album to nosedive in quality. This is legit one of the band's best tracks though.
13Breathe Carolina
Savages

BURY ME/SELLOUTS (FEAT. DANNY WORSNOP)

Yeah this is cheating but I don't care. Bury Me is a pop slapper and Sellouts is possibly the best "heavy" song that Breathe Carolina ever made. Kind of ironic that the whole song was about how they weren't going to be heavy anymore though. Guess they were true to their word.
14Falling in Reverse
The Drug in Me Is You

THE DRUG IN ME IS YOU

God dammit Radke is such a shit songwriter most of the time but he knows how to write a killer hook.
15Green Day
iTRE!

BRUTAL LOVE

Yeah it's cheesy as hell, but this is SUCH a good opener and it has such a satisfying climactic ending.
16Papa Roach
Ego Trip

KILL THE NOISE

Jacoby Shaddix is a bit like Ronnie Radke - even if most of the songs he writes nowadays are trash, he still knows how to write a killer chorus.
17Weezer
Pacific Daydream

MEXICAN FENDER

Yeah this is pretty much the same explanation as #11 lol
18Green Day
Father of All Motherfuckers

MEET ME ON THE ROOFTOP

The production is ass but this is an otherwise top-notch Green Day track.
19Marilyn Manson
The High End of Low

ARMA-GODDAMN-MOTHERFUCKIN-GEDDON

Oh come on, how can you NOT see that crazy-ass title and not immediately love it a little? All joking aside, I can thank Saints Row for turning me onto this song.
20Lady Gaga
Born This Way

JUDAS

This is easily Gaga's worst album, but Judas would be a highlight even on her best releases.
21Kanye West
808s and Heartbreak

LOVE LOCKDOWN

Yeah yeah I know this isn't a universally panned album or anything, I just didn't like it. With that said, Love Lockdown is still one I come back to from time-to-time.
22Architects
The Classic Symptoms of a Broken Spirit

BURN DOWN MY HOUSE

Wait a minute, I thought butt-rock was bad? How can there be a GOOD iteration of it??? Excuse me?????
23Katy Perry
Smile

NEVER REALLY OVER

Lol remember when this album got hella review bombed before it came out and had everyone thinking this was gonna be Emotion 2.0? Well pepperidge farm remembers. Anyway, this is a killer opener.
24No Doubt
Push and Shove

UNDERCOVER

I'm aware that this is hardly even a real No Doubt song, but it's such a good pop track that I don't even care.
25Twenty One Pilots
Blurryface

TEAR IN MY HEART

I'm sure if I gave this album another listen I wouldn't hate it as much as I used to, but god dammit it was so overplayed for like 2 years I don't know if I feel like it. I love this song because of how much of an earworm it is but I also kinda hate it for the same reason.
26The Naked and Famous
Recover

BURY US

Man, I LOVED their debut album and have been underwhelmed by nearly everything else they've released since. But I'm not gonna lie, Bury Us reminds me of the good ole days of PM, AY
