Wipers is a good band

Fav. track: over the edge
20Panda Bear
Person Pitch

Fav. track: Comfy in nautica
19Coheed and Cambria
The Second Stage Turbine Blade

Sing-along post-hardcore of which I hated the vocals initially

Fav. Track: Delirium trigger
18Built to Spill
Keep It Like a Secret

Perfect from now on might be better but is the album that got me into them.

Fav. Track: Time trap
The Sound of Perseverance

Quickly became one of my fav. bands, love the whole discography

Fav. Track: The flesh and the power it holds
16Sweet trip
Velocity : Design : Comfort

IBM shoegaze hybrid that is shockingly good

Fav. Track: International
15The Delgados

Underappreciated band. Lyrics on this are kinda sad but oh so good

Fav. Track:Coming in from the cold
14Deep Puddle Dynamics
The Taste of Rain...Why Kneel?

4 rappers have created a great abstract album with awesome beats and lyrics. Doseone is also on here and kills it.

Fav. Track: The Scarecrow speaks

Doseone and Why? shine with their nasal delivery on dreamy beats. This is one of those albums you either adore or hate I guess.

Fav. Track: Apt. A#2
12Shotmaker / Maximillian Colby

The best of both skramz bands on a cool split

Fav. Track: What's the matter river?
11Modest Mouse
The Lonesome Crowded West

Toss up between this and Long drive for my fav. MM but this one is just a little better imo.

Fav. Track: Teeth like god's shoeshine

Wire ended their perfect album streak with this album which is way ahead of its time.

Fav. track: A touching display
9This Heat

Weird experimental album which needs a lot of digestion. But it's worth it

Fav. Track: Makeshift Swahilli
8Say Anything
...Is a Real Boy

Maybe it is nostalgia, but this is pop punk perfection

Fav. Track: Admit it!
7Husker Du
Zen Arcade

Husker Du show they are capable of almost everything, with this monster of an album

Fav. Track: Reocurring dreams
Public Strain

The essential winter album.

Fav. track: Can't you see
These Are Not Fall Colors

Emo/post-hardcore with great guitar and bass interplay. Very catchy overlooked album which quickly grew on me. For fans of Unwound.

FAv. Track: Clay Fighter
4Lift to Experience
The Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads

Upon hearing this album I couldn't believe this was not a big band. Already released in 2001, but the remaster of last year shows just how good this double album is. Mixing indie rock shoegaze and vocals that resemble Jeff Buckley at times combined with the unique concept make this a classic.
3The Microphones
Mount Eerie

This album will always stand in the shadow of the Glow Pt. 2. However it is arguably the biggest grower of all time and just as good.

Fav. Track: Mt eerie
Brother, Sister

The creative peak of mwY. I wonder where the new album will stand in their discography.

Fav. Track: A glass can only spill what it contains
Leaves Turn Inside You

Unwound took everything I love about music and condensed it into an album.

Fav. Track: Below the Salt
