Best of Thrash Compilation

Greatest Thrash comp ever. Songs remain in same order as their respective albums. Debate, discuss, hate, love, I wanna hear it ALL. I challenge YOU to come up with your own list. Thrash m////
1Megadeth
Rust in Peace

Holy Wars...The Punishment Due - Everyone knows this one. Everyone loves this one. Otherworldly guitar playing makes this the best thrash opener ever. No debate.
2Sepultura
Arise

Dead Embryonic Cells - The first thrash song I ever heard, and it sucked me into the genre. Starts off with a tribal - esque groove that Sepultura is known for, and transitions into some pretty sick melodies and riffs. Adds some really fast, intense passages and on point lyricism. Too many riffs to count.
3Artillery
By Inheritance

Beneath the Clay (R.I.P.) - Gosh, that chorus is so fucking infectious. The middle eastern influences on this track (and on the whole album really) adds a nice level of flavor to the track. The heavy vocals that make an appearance at the 3:45 mark is so bad ass. Alternating solos are fucking amazing.
4Metallica
...And Justice for All

One - Incredible clean opening, perfect clean to heavy transition, and the song intensifies into one of the best solos in music history. Not much more needs to be said about Metallica's best track.
5Slayer
South of Heaven

Mandatory Suicide - Haunting track that grooves more than it thrashes. 2:45 on is downright creepy, but it's simultaneously very catchy. The outro transforms and standard Slayer track into one of their best.
6Anacrusis
Screams and Whispers

Tools of Separation - Needed to include a song on Anacrusis' best album. The bass lines on this song are legit, and the guitar work is varied and interesting, including the ambient middle section. One of the most eclectic thrash tracks, and it works really well.
7Sodom
Agent Orange

Ausgebombt (German Version) - The best punk song ever recorded was by a German thrash band. Bass is super driving, drums are diving, and the lyricism is great. The German version is more fun imo.
8Coroner
No More Color

Last Entertainment - Ahead of its time, Coroner crafted one of the best closing thrash tracks on No More Color. The song's message, guitar work, and haunting atmosphere is bonkers. Addicting af song.
9Demolition Hammer
Tortured Existence

Cataclysm - Morrisound production + Thrash is the greatest combination ever. This song, although it was a B-side, is fucking nuts. Reynolds spitting straight fire while razor thrash riffs are being played throughout the song's 6 minute duration. Great tempo changes, relentless drumming, solos, and that fucking riff at 2:52 make this a quintessential thrash closer. P.S. This song live was the greatest moment of my life. RETREAT TO THE INFERNO!!
