Song of Day February 2023: One hit wonders

Hi all! didn't see a SotD list yet or anyone who claimed it so i will quickly step in. The theme is one hit wonders, whether it's a one album and done band or maybe a one good album and done band. Or just an artist that is known for one radio hit. Give me artists who may have a brief (succesful) career but are still worthy to get a spotlight. In order to rec, please give me the artist - songname with a link. Also preferably tell from which album and keep in under 8 minutes Spreadsheet:
1A Bunny's Caravan
Draining Puddles, Retrieving Treasures

February 1: Pangea
"Resolving the Static"

Band made one album and then disbanded before playing any shows. The true emo experience

February 2 - Trifolium

This lady is SO good. Kollage is 100% awesome.
3The Normal
T.V.O.D. / Warm Leatherette

February 3 - ArsMoriendi
"Warm Leatherette"

This is such a 1-hit wonder that they only have like 2 songs and 1 of them is eh. Here’s the other one:
4Crystal Waters

February 4 - dedex
"Gypsy Woman"

heyyy let's go shake our asses to this '91 CLUB JAM woooo

heyyy let's go shake our asses to this '91 CLUB JAM woooo
5Fatal Microbes
Violence Grows

February 5 - SlothcoreSam
"Violence Grows"

Got a few, but here's the best, from 1979,
6The Band
The Band

February 6 - fogza
John Ireland - "i like...."

Thought about this on the way to work, and I have decided I'd like to change my choice to a true one hit WONDER, pan take note!
7Harlem Shakes
Technicolor Health

February 7 - anat
"Radio Orlando"

Very fun band who made very fun tracks, they did the one album and then called it a day. just as well because they’d have only fallen into SEO obscurity
8The Band
The Band

February 8 - kevbogz
Oliver Cheatham - "Get Down Saturday Night"
9LBC Crew
Haven't You Heard...

February 9 - Drifter
"Beware of my Crew"

The LBC Crew were Snoop Dogg's proteges in the Death Row days but none of them slacked on the mic. Bad Azz, Techniec, Tray Deee and Lil C Style all brought unique and strong flavors to the group which should've gone on to make multiple records, but their sole album only came out 15 years after recording due to Lil C Style destroying the tape and Death Row falling apart. Somehow they found a backup of it, I'm assuming, and put it out. This was their only single but it stands as a west coast classic.
10Native Construct
Quiet World

September 10 - AeniasGaming

My favorite song from one of my favorite albums
11Mariya Takeuchi

December 11 - JohnnyoftheWell
"Plastic Love"
12The Subways
Young For Eternity

February 12 - Vercetti
"Rock & Roll Queen"
13The Band
The Band

September 13 - Pangea
Van Dik Hout "Stil In Mij"

While only being a fairly minor hit back when it was released, Stil in Mij has become a classic in Dutch pop culture and one of the biggest Dutch-language songs of alll times. The band had some other small hits, but i doubt any non fan could recall any other song from them
14Saya Gray
19 Masters

February 14 - JohnnyoftheWell

she has one album it is a better album than ur shitjank fav band's album it is a HIT
15Another Sunny Day
London Weekend

September 15 - SlothcoreSam
"You Should All Be Murdered"
16Pina Kollars
Quick look

September 16 - fogza
"I Loved the Way"

Ok, an artist who did release 2 records (not one) and never had a hit, but deserves more exposure.
World Clique

September 17 - dedex
"Groove Is in the Heart"
18Hermann Szobel

September 18 - Pangea
"Transcendal Floss"

Okay how about this: Hermann Szobel was a musical prodigy that created this jazz fusion album when he was 18, after which he disappeared from the music world. Apparently, he resurfaced on a documentary in 2015 when he was being a homeless artist.
19Freya Wilcox and The Howl
Tooth and Nail

September 19 - SlothcoreSam
20The Shaggs
Philosophy of the World

September 20 - Egarran
"Philosophy of the World"

When you check out one-album bands and stumble upon the most definite proto-sputnikcore album from 1969:
21Silversun Pickups

September 21 - neekafat
"Lazy Eye"

not only their best song by a stretch, but their most popular by a longshot. and before one of you says "but what about panic switch :c" look at that 100,000,000 stream difference
Hunting High and Low

September 22 - Pheromone
"Take On Me"
23Sharon van Etten
Are We There

September 23 - JohnnyoftheWell
"Everytime the Sun Comes Up"

Sharon is NOT an one hit wonder
24The Band
The Band

September 24 - SlothcoreSam
Genghis Khan - "Moscow"

This song went to number 1 for 6 weeks in 1980 in Australia. Their next biggest song was 86.
25The Geraldine Fibbers
Lost Somewhere Between The Earth And My Home

September 25 - fogza

The Fibbers released two albums in the 90's but never really became big or found their audience while active. Carla Bozulich is still around, making very challenging albums. In my dreams this band would reunite because they make really good music.
26The Band
The Band

September 26 - Egarran
"What Does the Fox Say"

hat was my interpretation after my initial input mentioning What Does the Fox Say? was brutally dismissed but ok I may have been too quick to feel victimized about it, you know how it is these days.

Anyway, what a bange WTF IT'S 9 YEARS OLD??? I can't with this time dimension.

Also 1.1 billion views, whew.
