Also, radio-time gives me the illusion I'm still in touch with what's popular. I only really enjoy about one out of every twenty or so new songs, but I still discover a gem occasionally that I probably wouldn't have found by streaming. 11.18.24 | sometimes to mix it up i put on the local college radio, pretty sweet stuff lots of indie, post-punk and shoegaze that i have mostly never heard of. sometimes rap, jazz, ambient stuff they play everything. heard grizzly bear, king gizzard, bauhaus, echo and the bunnyman, gurriers and blonde redhead on there. its a nice mix and also a lot of completely obscure stuff that is cool. and almost all ad-free besides weather and a few local businesses.
