this is the new wave.

a couple genre name ideas: thrash rap, emo trap, scream trap, yellcore hip-hop, nu-trap, hardcore hip-hop ur boi might be joining the scene, watch for my name (x-con) this is not a skit/joke list is favorite artists from the scene
1GHOSTEMANE
Hexada

Accessible and then with the flip of a switch it's some disturbing hardcore, crusty punk music. Love how he adds live instrumentation to his music, and Rake is probably the craziest song I've heard in awhile. Guy is killing the game.
2Ghostemane and Getter
Dahlia I

Amazing collab, Getter brings in that industrial production while still keeping the intensity up for Ghostemane's multiple voices (he does them all, screams, highs, lows, fast, slow).
3Scarlxrd
Chaxsthexry

This guy's come-up is hilarious as he used to be a youtube vlogger and was ur stereotypical HEY GUYS LOL, cute british voice (or so I heard). Then he dropped that shit because it was "soul-draining", joined a nu-metal band, learned how to rap and scream and now makes some of the hardest shit out there right now so check Heart Attack (that Vanilla Sky sample). This album is the best variety but I admittedly haven't gotten through his whole discog (he has a ton of albums from 2016-2018). Voice reminds me of XXX but (hopefully) without all of the abuse / violence and legal issues.
4XXXTENTACION
Revenge

Back when I saw XXX live, way before he turned pop and before I even knew about all the awful shit he was doing, this guy basically only played the HARDEST shit live (sippin tea in your hood, KING, RIP Roach, etc.) and I still kinda adore it. His yelling voice (AYY) goes so hard and so do his songs, but at 1-2 minutes they never overstay their welcome. RIP but he kinda caused this scene to happen.
5Pouya
Five Five

Not too into this guy's solo material but I'm really pumped for him and Ghostemane's collab as the contrast between their voices is really amazing.
6OmenXIII
Grim

thanks Blush but can someone else add the rest of his discog to sput? dumb that he wasn't even in the database...
7Sybyr
ANTI-WORLD

thanks Stallion, no ratings for this dude tho wow but at least the catalog is in. dude's voice is grimy af tho (Piss on the Kitchen Floor) and it might take a bit to get used to but the dark vibe I really dig
8Gizmo
VENOM

new addition but this guy goes in, def opts more for the style I'm looking for (screams are visceral af here and usually mixed really well) but he also has some straight up trap bangers. no ratings on sput makes me sad so get on this shit now
