Hated Records I Like

Records that apparently suck, that I happen to like.
1Exodus
Force of Habit

Not really a thrash metal record, but far better than Impact is Imminent.
2Sabaton
The Last Stand

I really don't understand the hate this record got. It's just like every other Sabaton record, and is among my favorites alongside Carolus Rex.
3Judas Priest
Ram It Down

It's no Painkiller, but without this record we would have never gotten one of the greatest metal records of all time. The drum machine can be distracting at times, but the title track and Hard As Iron are two of Priest's greatest speed metal tunes. Plus the solos on this record are some of the best in Priest's entire discography.
4Alcatrazz
Disturbing the Peace

Alcatrazz went for a much more straightforward hard rock/heavy metal approach on this album, which I think worked marvels for them. Probably my favorite release from the group.
5Van Halen
Balance

Van Halen was a very different band at this point in their career, and this record shows that. I find it to be a refreshing listen after almost two decades of party-oriented rock. It may not be their best, but it is far from their worst.
6Helloween
Rabbit Don't Come Easy

Although this record may be a little too happy-happy for most people's tastes, I can't deny the infectious hooks and pristine production. Nothing to Say and The Tune are some fantastic hidden gems.
7AC/DC
Blow Up Your Video

This album holds a very special place in my heart. Me and my dad would crank this record while working on my first car, and so many great memories came from that experience. I'm a little blinded by the sentimental value this record holds, but I will always love it.
8Saxon
Rock the Nations

Now this one I don't understand the hate this one gets in the slightest. This record is simply Saxon doing what Saxon does best; writing fun anthems with infectious hooks.
9Trivium
The Crusade

Trivium was playing Metallica better than Metallica was in 2006.
10Metallica
Load

Can't put my finger on why I like this record so much, just do. Hero of the Day is killer.
11BABYMETAL
Metal Resistance

My friends and I jam these guys quite a bit. I would probably hate this if it wasn't for the 3 girls singing. I just find the combination of extremely distorted guitars and Japanese Idol girls singing over top to be so strange that it works.
12Insane Clown Posse
The Great Milenko

I'm no Juggalo, but these guys will always be a guilty pleasure of mine.
13Blue Oyster Cult
Club Ninja

Yeah, parts of this album kinda suck, but songs like "Dancing in the Ruins" keep me from disliking it. It's just too much fun for me to hate.
14Aerosmith
Rock in a Hard Place

Okay, I know this record is objectively poor. But I think it falls perfectly into the 'So bad it's good' category.
15Savatage
Fight for the Rock

I can't be the only person who likes this record... Right?
16Iron Maiden
Virtual XI

If you get rid of The Angel and the Gambler, you've got a pretty solid Maiden record.
17Destruction
Cracked Brain

Don't tell mom, but this is my favorite Destruction record.
