It's paradoxically one of the most beautiful genres despite being so abrasive. Sevengill 06.13.17	I've listened to like 90% black metal over the last three months, but that's probably mostly self-hype. it's just a perfect balance of meditation, bleakness, and musical journey when done right.
Demon of the Fall 06.13.17	I might check some eventually, my BM experience is minimal to say the least. Probably look for one of those 'insert music for dummies' style lists. I love Agalloch but I'm aware they're not exactly straight BM with all the folk &/or post-rock/metal stuff going on.
