Any Yu-Gi-Oh! fans?

And a few of my favorite albums ever.
1Black Sabbath
Paranoid

I've been a fan of the game since it first came out in America back in 2002 with the first pack set Legend of Blue-Eyes White Dragon. I haven't been on top of things the past 9 months, however, and haven't been playing either.
2Judas Priest
Painkiller

I never took the game too seriously until I started high school where a few buddies of mine were into synchro monsters at the time. I was originally opposed to the idea of synchro monsters since it was a drastic change of style for the game, but I eventually caught on and have been hooked on that play style since then. Stardust Dragon was my first synchro monster, and even though he's not as game breaking as he used to be, he gets high points for nostalgia and general playability.
3Death
Human

My favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! deck of all time is Synchrons/Junk Doppel/Plant Synchro whatever you want to call it.If you're unfamiliar with the build, it focuses on the Synchron archetype along with other low level monsters that work around the graveyard (in this case, Junk Synchron and Doppelwarrior) to spam tokens and build big synchro monsters. It spams a lot of monsters, draw power, and leads up to one or two Shooting Quasar Dragons which is the deck's primary win condition. It came achieved in many ways, and the explosive play style of the deck has defined my outlook of competitive dueling. Since building the deck in the form of Quickdraw Dandywarrior back in 2010, I've tried out many styles of the deck and have comfortably stuck with the Synchron style for the past while. I'm into decks that make huge plays that are flexible in method and require a bit of thought and strategy to pull off rather than just being auto-win.
4Iron Maiden
Powerslave

Lately, aside from getting the recent ban list, I haven't kept up with the game because I feel it has changed drastically at an alarming rate. XYZ's are pretty cool, but I haven't really been able to sit down and start a pendulum deck because I don't have a "connection" to the new meta game. It feels very formulaic and generic, and it's a bit confusing to follow at times imho. It's not that I'm closed off from new trends, but the game has accelerated really fast over the past couple years.
5Exodus
Bonded by Blood

My favorite rarities are probably ultra rare and secret rare. Many cards pull off the ultra rare look really well, and secret rare adds an extra bling without looking overdone imo. I had my hands on a couple ghost rare cards before (Ancient Fairy Dragon was my first ghost rare), and that's a really nice rarity too. Some cards like the 5D's synchro dragons and Star Eater look amazing as ghost rares. I'm not too crazy about ultimate rare, but it's a shame to see it gone.
6Pink Floyd
Wish You Were Here

I'm an advocate on an overhaul of the ban list because I feel there's too many cards on it that don't belong. Chaos Emperor Dragon, E-Hero Stratos, Sangan, and Monster Reborn are examples of cards that don't belong, but cards like Fiber Jar, Painful Choice, and Destiny Hero Disk Commander should forever stay on it imo.
7Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin II

I was the first of my friends to get into the game and have taught all of them how to play. I still keep in contact with most of them, and they are still into the game for the most part. I have considered rebuilding my deck again and playing again as well. Other successful decks I've built were Six Samurais, Vayu Turbo, Dragunities (my first deck type), and experimentation with over 10 deck types.
8Beastie Boys
Paul's Boutique

That's a little bit about my endeavors in Yu-Gi-Oh! I'm a mostly casual player with a competitive drive who is very knowledgeable about strategic methods, versatile deck building, and most of all, likes to have fun. I have always done my best in the game when I've had fun, and I'm not a SORE loser just because I don't always win. If you play the game yourself or know of it, feel free to just comment down below, and if you want my two cents about the game, you can ask me anything.
