04.18.20 | Never given Sap a proper listen. Def gotta do that. |

04.18.20 | Sap's opener is legit my favorite AiC song |

04.18.20 | I love Brother on Unplugged so that will be a treat. Rotten Apple is my favorite. |

04.18.20 | The amount of peeps I see saying Junkhead is one of the lesser songs is sad. I do agree that Rooster is one of the weakest but even then I still like it and dont feel like it takes away from Dirts perfection. |

04.18.20 | Sap is the first Jar of Flies. JoF and AiC are both 1 for me with everything else, including Sap, a very close 2nd. If only Layne had stuck around... |

04.18.20 | Yes it is quite a shame he had to leave us. |

04.18.20 | hard to rank but 3 is my favorite, is embodies everything the band and layne were about. from addiction and struggle, to revival and resolution. layne was a shell of his former self but the performance showed that he was truly a man possessed by his art and passion. the pain and misery you can see in his face is trumped only by the power of the last breaths his voice had to offer us. a powerful, angelic, but morose and bittersweet performance that is not easily topped. |

04.18.20 | Let’s be honest here. Dirt was a landmark album when it came out. Knowing Layne’s fate...it is not the easiest listen nowadays. Facelift on this list is a little low 4 me. I do love Jar of Fles. |

It's a heartbreakingly poignant performance, especially in hindsight and because of the unmitigated tragedy of it all, but to say that it embodies the band is a weird thing to say. The band isn't defined by that performance. It might be a tombstone for Layne, but it's merely an important milestone for the band. |

04.18.20 | There is no universe in which Rooster is considered a 'weak' track. One of the best songs-- if not the best-- of the grunge era. |

04.18.20 | ranking is probably right but I jam facelift the most these days |

04.18.20 | IronGiant, I do not think that Rooster is a weak track. It just doesn’t do anything for me anymore. Completely different. |

04.18.20 | Alice in Chains is one of the only popular 90's groups I genuinely enjoy. Great group |

Overplayed, maybe. But in no way weak. |
