Delicious Album Openers

Albums that start off with a bang, though the rest of the album may very rwell be no good at all. No particular order.

The Future Is Cancelled

Adultery really sets the tone and the album only gets better from there.

Hype and disappointment withstanding, Gangsta was a great way to start the album.

An Introduction to the Album completely caught me off guard and i had to listen to
it like 4 more times. His buildup in his vocals until that exasperated sigh was damn
near religious to experience.

Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge

Say what you will about the rest of the album or their discography... Helena is a
fucking jam and a half.

The pure emotion in the guitar playing in Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts 1-5)

Sowing Season (Yeah) is one of the best examples of how to build up tension only
to release it like a ton of bricks on listeners. Perfect.

Somewhere at the Bottom of the River...

Such Small Hands was the only song i could tolerate by them for the longest time,
it's perfectly overdramatic.

Seven Years introduced me to Anthony Green's beautiful voice and i still love it to
this day.
