rabidfish 02.19.21	tbh i'm liking Sekiro much more than any of the souls games i've played. I never really cared about the whole RPG aspect of any of them. The whole community really makes it much more accesible to someone like me who really doesn't know or care too much about builds, stats, minmax'ing and stuff. The replay value factor is definitely not as high on Sekiro, tho, so i think overall Soulsborne games have much more longevity. That and the lore and story are much more interesting on the Souls series. But overall Sekiro has been much more fun to play and learn. I wish FS went all in with it and just made it a boss rush. The stealth and plataforming sections are not as well developed as the combat. The story is kinda dumb and makes little sense.

I've been finishing up a sorcerer run on DS3 (not that fun at all honestly) and for a solid week I just couldn't get past the twin demons/Demon Prince. Probably the most stuck I've been on a boss in these games. Also re: beating Amelia first try, impressive IF you did it before Old Yharnam/BSB, it's very possible to be over-leveled for her lol

He can be cheesed super easily though by standing in the corner at the top of the steps.....easy jump attacks, rinse and repeat.

Lord(e)Po)))ts 02.20.21	for laurence the first vicar, my bloodborne lore is the least comprehensive as i've only played it once, so for a lot of those bosses they are ranked based off of much more fractured and foggy memories than for the proper souls trilogy. the reasons i have laurence in A tier are that i L O V E all the hair beasts in bloodborne. they are magnificent and terrifying. but at the same time, all of said hair beasts blur together for me a bit because there are quite a few of them and i've only played once, which is what prevents any of them from being S tier.

Moonlight Butterfly music is absolutely beautiful. Next to Kos, Laurence was the hardest boss in Bloodborne for me so he's very memorable in the sense that I saw him for hours lol

Anthracks 02.20.21	I played through DeS, DS1, DS2, and most of DS3 recently. The only bosses that have given me real trouble so far are Maneaters, Kings Pets, and Abyss Watchers. Sir Alonne was fairly challenging and maybe my favorite fight too.

Anthracks 02.20.21	I didn’t mind Alonne’s commute. Nowhere near as bad as for the Kings Pets; that was just an unreal experience overall. The fight took everything I had out of me and they are the only boss to kill me more than 10 times. My weapon broke as I landed the final blow on the cat. Pretty cinematic. Anthracks 02.20.21	Probably a good call for sanity. Someone told me that the boss and area were designed for co-op. I’m shocked that they are rarely mentioned in the conversation of hardest boss. In my opinion literally so much harder than every other boss.

Veldin 02.21.21	I've beat all Miyazaki's From games, but Hollow Knight wrecked me. Also, noticed Lady Maria is pretty low on the list and I think the fight is thrilling and fun and her story is interesting and sad.

Someone earlier said they wished Sekiro was a boss rush, and technically a boss rush mode was added as a free DLC with new costumes.

Veldin 02.21.21	Right on! Sekiro is a lot of fun albeit pretty different feeling than the other Miyazaki games. Feels really great once you master the combat. Definitely worth revisiting Bloodborne and DS3 is always a blast to replay.

Ectier 02.21.21	I got a ps4 basically for bloodborne then beat orphan at midnight with no sound. Never touched the thing again. Mods can be great, but for skyrim mods get addictive.

It is a lot of money for sure. I just try to stay a generation behind so I can get consoles for cheap and play catch up instead.
