My ultimate Deftones song. As if this song wasn’t mindblowing enough already, the experimental guest vocals towards the end of the song elevate it to another level, evoking utter anguish by manipulating vocal chords in a way I never thought possible.
The first 2 lines sum up the band perfectly. 'My knife, it's sharp and chrome / Come see inside my bones' The first line is ominous and almost threatening, followed immediately by an invitation of intimacy. | |

Adrenaline actually has quite a few tracks with a slightly disturbing feel (like for instance Fireal, One Weak, Lifter, Root...). Probably thanks to the weird cryptic lyrical style of that album | artiswar
