Every Black Mirror Episode Ranked

Just finished season four, so I thought a list would be appropriate considering we have 19 episodes now. I think it's safe to say that bar 19, I don't particularly dislike any of these episodes as even the ones towards the bottom are 3/5 worthy. It's pretty amazing for a series to accomplish this, especially when every episode is wildly different to each other. List are digs.
18Everything Everything
A Fever Dream

S4E3 - Crocodile: The only episode I didn't bother finishing because I was totally bored. I get the importance of good cinematography but it did nothing for character development or plot. Characters were completely forgettable, technology aspect was minimal and the whole could have easily been done in half the time. Also we get it, the song they used was featured in fifteen million merits. Enough with the blatant easter eggs.
17Enter Shikari
The Spark

S4E2 - Arkangel: Despite most Black Mirror episodes being pretty different, this honestly felt like the most generic black mirror episode out there. Standard plot: Equilibrium, certain event causes use of technology, fine at first then invasive and problem causing and comes back to bite. Was predictable and didn't bring anything special to the Black Mirror Catalogue.
16Young Thug
JEFFERY

S4E5 - Metalhead: Good watch, but largely forgettable. Also, the black and white choice is questionable.
15Young Thug
BEAUTIFUL THUGGER GIRLS

S1E1 - The National Anthem: In hindsight, they probably played it safe here in contrast to the more 'out there' episodes because it was the pilot but it kind of shows. Bar the actual plot, it's pretty tame by Black Mirror's standards when it comes to technology and how it effects society. Also, the artist's message in the end wasn't as powerful as I'd like it to be.
14Justin Hurwitz
La La Land (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

S2E3 - The Waldo Moment: Started off so well but didn't really live up to its potential. Left wanting and Waldo is kind of annoying too.
13Milo
Who Told You To Think??!!?!?!?!

S3E4 - San Junipero: Similar to Crocodile, this whole episode left me rather bored. It was a decent idea but half an hour in, I wasn't particularly invested in the characters, which made the supposedly emotional ending pretty neutral to me.
12Porcupine Tree
The Incident

S2E2 - White Bear: Well executed and Michael Smiley is a beast of an actor but the twist and ending left me scratching my head as to whether or not the crime fit the punishment. I get that Black Mirror is supposed to be cathartic but I don't know, this one just didn't sit well with me. Still a good episode to watch though.
11Touche Amore
Stage Four

S3E6 - Hated in The Nation: Good concept but way too long to have any replay value and the main two characters are bland.
10Julien Baker
Turn Out The Lights

S3E5 - Men Against Fire: Enjoyable throughout with good characters, an amazing twist and well executed. But this could have been half an hour long instead as the first half drags.
9Travis Scott and Quavo
Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho

S2E1 - Be Right Back: Despite being similar to Arkangel, what this achieves is greater character development, conflict and motivation. Good shit.
8Tyler, the Creator
Flower Boy

S3E1 - Nosedive: Cringeworthy to the bone at many points, but considering that's exactly what this wants to achieve, it does its job. Really interesting parallel to the evolution of social media as well. Speaking of which, UPVOTE MY REVIEWS, I NEED TO GET TO THAT 95% TIER.
7Travis Scott
Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight

S3E2 - Playtest: Despite the technology aspect having less of a role in this when it came to shaping society, this was very well filmed with Wyatt Russell really putting in a stellar performance of a man whose mentality is gradually degrading.
6Der Weg Einer Freiheit
Finisterre

S4E6 - Black Museum: Gripping throughout and great way to end season 4. Ending and twist was kind of sudden but the entire episode was good enough to make up for it.
5Falls of Rauros
Believe in No Coming Shore

White Christmas: Like Black Museum but executed better because John Hamm is fucking great.
4Falls of Rauros
Vigilance Perennial

S3E3 - Shut Up and Dance: Honestly my favourite twist in Black Mirror. It's high stakes from the start but the fact that it makes you question rooting for the protagonist after the big reveal is superb.
3Waldgefluster
Ruinen

S4E4 - Hang The DJ: It's rare to see such great on camera chemistry and unlike San Junipero, this was totally believable and felt natural. That kind of thing does wonders for immersion and with addition about what the actual matching system did made an amazingly cathartic and pleasing episode. Also, the music here suited brilliantly and brought out the best of the acting, so props to Sigur Ros for that.
2Thantifaxath
Void Masquerading as Matter

S4E1 - USS Callister: This truly has everything. Grandiose visuals, scary future technology, great characters and amazing humour. Probably the funniest episode as well as one of the most fucked up ones.
1Signor Benedick the Moor
toybox

S1E3 - The Entire History of You: Alright alright, so Toby Kebbell is a terrible Dr Doom, I know but his performance here is undeniably my favourite of any actor in black mirror. He's such a believable character with his constant paranoia. Out of all the BM episodes, this one resonated with me the most and it's helped by its amazing cinematography and director. I find too many Black Mirror episodes end abruptly but this is the exception as the last scene is imho perfect.
