What I consider hate consumption, is when a person knowingly subjects themselves to something, expressly because they think it's shit, whist gaining some kind of sense of superiority for having better taste. I don’t think it’ll be enjoyable, in fact I’m almost certain it’ll be terrible, yet I still do it. Best I can hope for is getting some ‘amusingly bad kick’ out of its awfulness.
