Vinyl (wax In The Ears Acquies)
Recent acquisitions and such. Feel free to make some recommendations and rchat about your rwaxy-additions as well. |
1 | | 7 Seconds The Crew
Black Repress, but how can a body say 'No' to a western classic? Especially when
its in good shape and going for four dollars. |
2 | | Aesop Rock Float
Black. The cover was a little battered, but it runs smooth. First time I've seen a
physical copy on wax. |
3 | | Blue Meanies Full Throttle
Black. An underrated gem of the third-wave. I can understand why a record like
this wasn't really 'palatable' to the masses in the mid-nineties though. Still a
classic. |
4 | | Government Warning No Way Out
Black. So much love for these Richmond revivalists |
5 | | Kid Dynamite Shorter, Faster, Louder
Black. Apparently Jade Tree reissued this badboy. Super stoked to own a shiny copy of this classic piece of Philly melodic-
hardcore. |
6 | | Mastodon Leviathan
Blue, Gold, Blood (Tri-Colour). First tri-colour wax! It's the zillionth reissue of my second favourite Mastodon record (I go back
and forth on this and 'Remission' though) |
7 | | Modern Life Is War Modern Life Is War EP
White. Three songs of cathartic release. Life must be rough in Iowa. |
8 | | New Mexican Disaster Squad Don't Believe
Opaque Marbled-Purple. It's a pity these gents around around anymore. I miss this age of melodic-hardcore. |
9 | | Maribelle With Teeth As Sharp As Old Friends
Black. Post-pseudo-'emo-esque' rock project with one of the dudes from Weekend Nachos. Proof that everybody has a soft-side
(In between bouts of power-violence bursts of hatred) |
10 | | Misfits Collection I
Black. Normally, I'm not a big fan of compilations, but this one has a good portion of my favourites. |
11 | | tUnE-yArDs Nikki Nack
Trans.-Red. Allegedly, its a 'limited edition', but I'm willing to wager they pressed thousands of these. Its a fun record, but not
taken with it like I was with 'whokill'. |
12 | | Circle Takes The Square Decompositions: Volume Number One
Opaque Gold w/Blue splatter. Really wish they would've had copies of 'As The Roots Undo' at the show, but this one isn't too
shabby. |
