| Faith Is A Law
Like Seth's law or Murphy's law. In all seriousness, at the start of this year rI was in a pretty rshitty place, serving coffee 60 hours a week to make rrent, wasting all the other money on ralcohol and blow. There wasn't a rmorning where I didn't wake up hungover. I had no ambition, rno rmotivation, no drive. It was depressing and I started to ponder whether rthis was gonna be rmy life forever, how could I change it? I'd honestly felt rthese were the cards I'd been dealt rand I should have to make do. One rday it snapped and I decided to uproot my life (because rother than rmaterial possessions like records, tv, xbox and things like that) nothing relse in my rlife really mattered. I left my apartment in Brooklyn, told no rone and took a greyhound up to rBuffalo to be with my then girlfriend, now rfiancee. I started to take a chance on myself and rsubsequently, people rbegan taking chances on me. Weed really helped me stop smoking rrcigarettes and drinking and has ultimately landed me in a better place, roffered a job working rwith disabled preschoolers which I could not be rmore ecstatic about. I now have to stop rsmoking to pass a drug test and rit's the first time I've not been self-medicating in a really long rtime and I rdon't even miss it. So if life is getting you down, if you're in a dark place, rjust rknow that you can make the world your bitch and in turn do anything rthat you truly want with ryour life, only you can make it happen though. rCheers for listening. rList is albums that have rhelped me through rough times in my life. | 1 | | Counting Crows August and Everything After | 2 | | The Notorious B.I.G. 10.19.13 | Most recently, Sunbather has been getting me through some shit. Paper Spine by Between the Devil and the Deep and The Quietest Place on Earth by We Lost The Sea are two amazing 5/5 albums by local Sydney bands that, along with getting me through some other times, are that much more personal being made in the city I live in. | zakalwe
10.19.13 | Miserable, hungover everyday, wasting what little money you have, no motivation. God I miss my early twenties. | Hermano

10.19.13 | The National - Trouble Will Find Me & High Violet & Boxer
Keane - Under The Iron Sea
Oceansize - The Frame
Coldplay - A Rush Of Blood To The Head
These helped me feel miserable at will and get over a failed attempt to get this former University mate. I've been dreaming of being with her for months and now after we finished University, started talking with each other daily. However, she is in some relationship with some dude for over 2 years now, yet she spends half the day talking with me. I hate her. | ExcentrifugalForz
