ArsMoriendi 02.21.14	What about Billy Corgan? 90s Smashing Pumpkins was brilliant. Gish, Siamese Dream, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, and Adore were all amazing. Then he goes and ruins his band in the 2000s by releasing 2 Machinas which are boring as hell. He fires D'arcy Wretsky (which I guess wasn't so bad) and evnetually makes James Iha want to leave (bad move.) This causes a pure shit album like Zeitgeist to come out. He eventually replaces all of the other original members with young musicians (after Jimmy Chamberlain quits) who will do what ever he says. He then promises a 44 song epic to come out of the course of a few years in 2009. It's been 5 years Billy and there's only 23 songs. Sure Oceania is listenable, but its still not good enough to make up for all you've done. He also complains that fans at the concerts only want to hear the 90s material. GEE BILLY I WONDER WHY? Billy Corgan also said that Soundgarden and Pavement are only touring for attention and they're all washed up. This is all because Kim Thayil of Soundgarden upset him once and Pavement wrote a song poking fun at Smashing Pumpkins. Recap - He won't let his failing music career die, he has no sense of humor, and makes talented musicians quit his band.
