deathschool 11.22.14	Had mixed feelings about the first song. Gonna listen to a few more then do my best to tell you how I feel about em.
Crymsonblaze 11.22.14	just listened to the first two songs lyrics are confessional and surprisingly good, first one reminds me very heavily of brand new. second one i couldn't relate too very much but not bad. vocals are slightly nasally but your voice is still oddly appealing. melodies are pretty basic but they're fine for what they are
deathschool 11.22.14	Alright. So far. Here is how I honestly feel about the first three songs. You are a songwriter. Some people aren't. You understand melody very well and your songs flow naturally. You're a great guitar player and an above average singer. Your songs tell a decent story. But my biggest thing is there doesn't seem to be a ton of passion or emotion happening here. Like you said, these are rough. Rough demos typically are emotive to a fault, but you sound just kinda bored. These songs are obviously supposed to be poppy which is fine, but they almost don't have a flavor as well. Idk. They suffer from a bit of blandness. I hope this doesn't come across as too harsh.
KriegdemKriege 11.22.14	Thanks so much for giving it a listen guys! It really means a lot to me. Yaknips - Thanks :] I'm planning on reworking these into full-band recordings, so there's going to be a lot more variety on the finished album. The band's going to have three singers: myself, a female soprano (who's absolutely fantastic), and another male singer who is way better than me. So between the three of us we'll be adding a lot of variety to these songs. Crymson - I'm so glad you like the lyrics. That's what I was most nervous about. They are a lot more confessional than my previous work, but I feel pretty good about them because they have a lot of meaning for me. Thanks for checking it out. The nasally vocals is a fair criticism; I've been told many times I sound whiny. (: deathschool: Thanks so much! I think the lack of emotion is a fair criticism. I think the reason there isn't too much passion in my vocals on these is because it usually takes me a few takes to get the recording right. I do these all live on a one-track voice recorder, so if I make a mistake I have to start all over again. I think it kind of sucks the passion out. You weren't harsh at all, this is the stuff I need to hear! I'm going to keep this in mind and try to work on fixing the blandness for future recordings.

KriegdemKriege 11.22.14	Awesome. I really needed to hear that. Like I said, my friends haven't been very good about giving me feedback. It sucks to be writing stuff and then always wondering whether or not it's good material because no one will take the time to listen to it. I'll definitely let you know when we release the album. We have big plans for this. I hope it all works out!
