Best of Bandcamp Free Vol. 4

Some people got upset that I posted 10 albums last time... so I'll be putting 8 now. http://bestofbandcampfree.blogspot.com
1Main Attrakionz
808s and Dark Grapes II

[Cloud Rap] The future of hip-hop m8s. Also, I hear 808s III is actually coming out this year so get hyped. Or don't. Since it probably won't come out like it was supposed to for the last few years.

2Schizoid Lloyd
The Last Note In God's Magnum Opus

[Metal/Avant Garde] Everything but the kitchen sink-core. This album is a complete clusterfuck of random genres and sounds, with an over the top rock opera vocalist to top it all off. It sounds really good though, so don't mistake what I just said as a bad thing.

3Shakey Graves
Roll The Bones

[Lo-Fi/Folk/Country] Shakey Graves is a big name in the underground scene for his stellar vocal performance and for making country music that doesn't suck. While I do prefer his more cleaner produced stuff via Donor Blues and The War Came, his early lo-fi stuff isn't that bad either.

4Kairon IRSE!
Ujubasajuba

[Shoegaze/Post Rock] *insert buzzwords that describe how great the melodies on this album are here*

5Monster Machismo
Aye Aye Porcupine

[Math Rock] The best way to describe this album is to quote it's review "An acid trip serenade from an angel with a throat infection."

6Red Giant (USA-NJ)
Drones

[Trip-Hop] Great vocalist/producer duo with a really dark, calming atmosphere.

7Little Kid
River of Blood

[Folk/Rock] Really good, dark album with a lot of religious themes... worth a spin.

8Typhoon (USA-OR)
Hunger and Thirst

[Folk] One of the best albums of the decade, the philosophy of this band is an awe-aspiring one and the song writing and musicianship is stellar. Download ASAP.
