I'm a huge fan of Swans. Ever since Gira reunited the band, they've been getting consistently better. To Be Kind is by far the best
of the new Swans era, though I don't think they'll ever touch the early no wave albums or Soundtracks for the Blind. One can
always hope, though. |

Full Of Hell & Merzbow
I loved Rudiments of Mutilation and I'm a big fan of Merzbow (mostly his analog stuff, but the modern digital era is still great).
Needless to say, I was waiting in anticipation for this to drop. Full of Hell's disc is dark, evil, and deviously grindy. Merzbow's disc
is also incredible and is probably my favorite modern work of his. Great stuff. |

would go in a more 90's metalcore direction, I was really fucking excited. I can listen to this over and over. |

Every thing these guys release is better than the last, and Loom continues with the trend. Everything is so easy to relate to, and I
love the whole post-screamo aspect these guys have going on. AOTY. |
